Had a video made of the last http://www.opentrack.co.uk day at Snetterton 300 a week or so ago. Sorry there are no 'z' on the video but none came to the day ....... Only seen one in the last year still a good video.

A airfield day will be harder on your tyres than a track as said above and they are cheaper for a reason .

Pace Ward is another company i have used them several times. They will do it on a daily basis depending on track and track day provider, if your track day provider is in the ATDO which is the Association of track day organizers it will cost you less. http://www.paceward.com/

Just thought i would bump this up a bit as it is just 9 days to go This day will be running with Limited numbers on track so it is a ideal day if you are thinking of just starting track days or indeed if you are a "old hand". One chap has take the step to book on from here .......... will you allow him to go by himself ? surely not We had two top tutors http://www.mikewilds.com & Sean Cooper on the day that are included in the price along with photography , food, and garages so it works out at being the best value Oulton Day in a long time .

Great report by Gt4 Zed about the incident . I have to say that the after a few "near misses" with a few not so well driven cars over the past few years i have only done Private track days at the Ring since 2008. If you are on a track day instead of a Tf day the Track day organizer has to pay upwards of £3,000 for extra marshals around the circuit that are just not there on the Tf day and this at least could give you some advanced notice about what if round the corner. Also as a quick side note if the breakes ar cooked and you are shopping round i can say Ap's are superb. Glad you missed all the other vehicles and got back in one piece.

20th October sees Opentrack at Snetterton in Norfolk again. We will be running on the new Snetterton 300 again Last winter Snetterton race circuit underwent a major redevelopment to make it the second longest track in the country. The circuit is now extended to include a extra one-mile section. This was completed before the start of the 2011 season. The improved circuit called Snetterton 300 is part of a 20m worth of investment proposed for the south Norfolk site. With a total of 13 corners on the new circuit it is fast becoming one of the must do circuits in the Uk. Old classics like The Bomb Hole remain unchanged however there is now a larger run off area on the outside of the bend. The first corner which is Super fast Riches also remains unchanged and it helps to keep some of the much loved history of this circuit alive. Lying just of the A11 Snetterton is easy to get to from the south and also the midlands with good access via the A14 and also the M11.
