  1. yeah thats the only thing i dont like- the wheels, but i suppose i can always get some 2nd hand rays..... do you know what the going rate is? The low mileage is what i like the sound of though. Does it look kind of the right money?

    im excited! B)

I saw a set of Rays on ebay the other day (which included a reasonable amount of rubber) for £600 which isn't too bad really. I'll see if I can find the link if you're interested....

Car looks to be a good deal! I'm picking up my black GT tomorrow which I bought for about the same price. It's a MY05 one, but has done a few more miles and no sat nav -guess it's the premium for buying from a main dealer

  2. lol im on my second, luckly is an e74 error so is covered under my 3 years warranty....

there isnt a single person i know who has a 360 over a year and a half old and hasnt had it break... and i would say there are 30+ people in the office alone who have them!

We keep a box in the office specifically for returning our 360's in. Current one has managed 9 months of service so should be going wrong any day now :)

tbh im waiting for the lights on mine  i may aim a fan at it soon

I'll probably buy a new one rather than getting it repaired when it goes wrong. My brother bought a new Elite a couple of months ago and it's much quieter and has a smaller power brick (which isn't really hard given how big the thing i have is!).

(ot: i like your under strut lighting mod btw - very nice!)

  3. I got a quote off Admiral today for the MY05 GT i'm picking up on friday - £731 which is WAY lower than the £1202 Direct Line wanted...

26, 4 years NCB, no accidents, claims or points. I guess that's not too bad so will probably go with Admiral once my current Direct Line policy runs out in a couple of weeks

  6. Taking the Bose appart and a bit of soldering doesn't put me off if it gets the job done :)

I've seen a pretty good tutorial for doing it somewhere, but as you correctly point out, it was probably a US model which could well be different.

You're also right about Rob_Quads. That guy knows a scary amount about 350z ICE/wiring!

  7. I'm about to pick up my 2005(54) 350z GT this week and it has the handsfree kit cradle + steering wheel controls, but no bluetooth adapter. I know you can get these on ebay for about £60-£90 but what I really want to do is to have handsfree calling (with the steering wheel controls) and to be able to stream music over A2DP. I don't think the cradle adapter supports this so was wondering what solutions there are before I start spending money!

    Any ideas?
