  1. I had the ones i linked in the op in my TT for 2 years without a single problem.

You're all going well over the top.

That is bizarre. The current is to high for the LED's in the car, and that is why they get too hot and dont last long, hence the need for the resistors.

  2. They look nice mate, think I prefer the genuine facelift ones though...

Oh and I have a 54 plate Zed and I always thought my headlights were HIDS? They are very white and bright, and you can usually tell they are HIDS by the way they reflect off things at night.

  3. I am looking to get my wheel alignment sorted on my Zed as I have changed out quite a few parts in my suspension trying to cure a knock. Thankfully the knock has gone, but my wheel alignment is all over the place causing the inside of both front tyres to be bald and lots of thread left on the other side.

Has anyone used a place for this before they could recommend in or near Glasgow? Was thinking Drivers at Charing Cross? Not interested in Kwik-Fit or any other places like that.

    Cheers :D

  4. http://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/501-led-extreme-power-1.5w-360-degree-white-blue-red.html?bulb_search=c14858 - anyone used these to replace number plate bulbs?

Previously bought some cheap ebay ones - viewtopic.php?f=26&t=43909

almost a year on, been through 2 sets, to be fair the seller sent replacements free of charge but be arsed with the hassle of changing em every 6months

They are the ones I just bought and they come recommended. They have resistors built in

  5. Right so just bin these ones from ebay and get the ones with the resistor? if so will teach me for rushing into buying cheap mods

I have just bought the ones mike put a link up for. I totally agree these are the best options. Really cheap ones off eBay won't last IMO and will probably overheat.

  6. The resistors will only cause the current to go up which will be more unsafe. The lower wattage/current is much safer. I would be worried if someone was putting 10w bulbs inplace of the 5w but LEDs without resistor use much less current.

A 5w will draw .42amps, the(assuming 1w) LEDs draw 0.08 amps. Lower current is much safer.

A resistor will cause the current to increase??? :bangin:

    I = V/R

  7. I paid £11,000 for my 54 plate 350Z in black with GT pack and rays in May 2010. Also came with parkings sensors and cargo net. It only had 44,000 miles on it but i think I paid slightly over the odds. I amnt even sure how much it would be worth now :yuck:

  8. I was incredibly fussy over what I wanted and paid a wee bit more than I probably should had and had to travel from Glasgow to Leeds and back for my Zed. Nothing wrong with being fussy! Good luck, hope you find the right one! B)

  9. Hi,

I am looking to sell my iPhone 3GS after getting an upgrade. I have had the phone just over a year, and it is in great condition. There are a few scratches on the back of the phone, but the screen is absolutely spotless, like new. This is down to it being protected whilst it was in use. The phone is locked to Vodafone but can easily be unlocked and comes with the original box and instructions. Unfortunately the charger became faulty, therefore is not included with the phone. Local pick-up preferred but can post for £7 to anywhere within the UK.

    Looking for £195 ovno.
