Spacers are SOLD!

My Zed is up for sale as I need an eco car as my every day driver now . So heres some stuff I am selling. I have a Bluetooth adapter for sale which allows you to integrate the handsfree with your phone. £75 delivered. Also got a boot Divider that cost a fortune from Nissan. I will take £45 for this, delivered. Genuine Nissan Boot net, been in the car since brand new, cost a fortune off Nissan. Looking for £40 delivered. First up is 2 x 25mm & 2 x 20mm spacers. The 25mm ones were bought off the forum from MWTech. I got the other ones from KEI racing. Looking for £100 + del. JWT Popcharger. This was bought off another member about a year ago, covered just under 2500 on my car. It has damaged thread so a new screw has been used with a washer, which does the job perfectly, I had no issues with it at all. Looking for £45 + del. Finally, I have some Z burger badges for sale. Bought these about 6 months ago, there is a tiny bit of 'wear' on them when looked at closely. I'll take £30 for these inc. delivery.

Spotted today driving past Falkirk College. Was a facelift 06 plate with full nismo kit and Z badges! You wouldnt have seen me in my Z as I was in my mates Civic.

Gave me a couple so Definitely saw me! Followed him all the way up until he turned off for Uddingston/Belshill Was a 52 plate(i think) import. Had a bodykit(not sure which one) and black deep dish wheels. Like my own, could have done with a wash

Got a letter back today from Admiral saying following my letter with explanation of the wee mistake I made my policy will continue as normal. Was obviously a random audit, just shows you though that it isn't worth hiding things from them.

Saw it in the same car park as myself. I am at the college every Thursday but its the first time I have seen it.

It depends if the play is in the bush or on the ball joint...if it is just the bush you can buy them from ZMANALEX which saves you money buying a new arm!

I have broke several of the plastic push pins that are used to secure parts of the cars exterior. I have had a search on here and on google to try and source some. Not even sure if I have got the name of what they are correct, but I am sure you will know what I am meaning. Does anyone have an idea as to where I could source some?

There were only a limited number made between 2006-2008. As for the Z4M Coupe looking dated I have to completely disagree. I am swayed in favour of the German. I was initially and from all the replies I think it's the best option over a 370Z, which are more expensive. However come the summer I may have changed my mind again and go for a 370Z lol.

Just got off the phone to the underwriters department and the guy I spoke to confirmed that it is 'just a random check we do from time to time'. I mentioned the slight mistake I made with dates and he said as long as the conviction code matches he doesnt see 2 or 3 months of a mistake making any difference. So hopefully all will be ok

With a budget of £2500 the only Z you will get is one that has been mangled in a car crash. As for RX8's, I think they look crap and the running costs arent worth the performance you get back, hence their market value.

Similar scenarios have happened to me like this plenty of times! I have for some bizarre reason saw my DTE go up 20 mile or so when i start crawling in traffic (probably getting about 6mpg) which completely baffles me.

I havent told them about my spacers but I have only recently put them on, just havent got round to it yet. No ive never cost them money, the only claim they have dealt with was 100% the 3rd parties fault.

If you are prepared to travel for your car then you should find the right one at the right price. I went to Leeds from Glasgow for mine. I paid a little over the market value because it was pretty low mileage and I was really really precise in the trim I wanted, and it also came with full Nissan service history and a few extras like parking sensors, bluetooth adapter and cargo net which isnt bad to have when trying to re-sell.

I am hoping its just a random check, but they will obviously find the discrepancy, as did I when I did my check over all the details tonight to check they matched, its their reaction to this that worries me! So do I, I cant see how £270 can be justified! It was a simple human error. I still declared the conviction!

£270 for getting a month, not even a year wrong for a conviction on my policy? I will be arguing my case if they try to do that.

I cant really see what they would achieve other than losing a customer. That is my thoughts too! I will call the underwriters number tomorrow to see what the score is, it could just be a random check they do and I have been picked out in the bunch of people to audit...I hope lol

Yeah I will be sending a bill, I think it is as you say just proof of where I live. I hope it comes to nothing, technically though if i read through the terms and conditions they would be within their rights to cancel my policy....cant see why they would want to though! I have never made a claim against them (that was my own fault) and always paid my policies up front. Time will tell !
