If noise is going to be an issue have a look at vein type .

Hydrovane compressors will cost quite a lot to run in maintenance costs tho.

Being an air compressor engineering manager, I would suggest you avoid the Clarke type compressors from machinemart etc. they are very cheap and will last you circa 12/15 months.

Hello back! Got the blue trashed last year in a accident. Bent chassis , wheels on rear so that was that. End of my roadster days .

Had it repaired and sold it in Glasgow where I bought this one.

Now sold, mods please lock.
