  1. I had warped DBA's too, but I don't think it was the discs. I'd had warped EBC 3000 miles before that and the pair before were warped as well. I think there's an underlying problem in some 350'z enginieering that can make them suffer from this.

I took mine to a Nissan deaership that works on GTR's and they diagnosed a hub flange distortion. I was going to get a second opinion but managed to write my car off before anything was confirmed. (still gutted! :byebye: )

All I'm saying is make sure they check everything with a fine tooth comb as it's an expesnive recurring problem to have.

  2. not worth hassle

dont try and do a good deed itll only backfire

+1000 - There's nothing in it for you and your beloved will still find a good new home. Nothing but trouble if you wait.

  3. :( Sorry to hear about the car mate, but as long as you're okay that's the main thing.

I don't mean to be insensitive, but did you get any pics of the damage? Would be interesting to see what a 20mph crash looks like, especially to write the car off with chassis damage.

I'll post some pics shortly when a few more insurance things are sorted out. Hear too many stories of poor use of social media stitching yourself up........

  4. After two fantastic years of Zed ownership, the dream has come to an abrupt end.

Unfortunately I had a nasty accident on the M25 last Thursday. The traffic came to a sudden stop and my foot slipped off / glanced the brake pedal and I plowed into the back of the person in front at about 20mph. I make no bones about it, it was entirely my fault and I was livid with myself for such a silly mistake. :blackeye::bang:

Thankfully no one was hurt but I've just learned that the 'ol girl will be written off as there's chassis damage. Gutted!

Not sure what the future holds but I'm doing a lot more miles for work so a sensible 'Turbo Weasel' may be necessary. I'll continue to lurk as I still get a great deal of enjoyment from the various types of posts that make this place such a rich forum. And what a bunch of characters......... (mean't as a compliment) :boxing::lol:

    Ciao for now peeps! :byebye:

  5. Steady on guys, I think some of those comments are unnecessarily harsh! While the make up of the car may not be my cup of tea either, its this chaps pride and joy so lets not rip it too hard. The forum is meant to be (in my opinion) a support and sharing community for different people, with different backgrounds and tastes, sharing a common love of a great car.

I like the wrap, including the skirts, but i think the wheels in that blue make it look very muddled. Think if you re-did the wheels in matt black that would look bad ass!

  6. I think this is great to hear. Im all for publicly praising and also naming and shaming dealers that dont live up.

Incidentaly - i dont want to hijack the thread but - im considering an upgrade to a 370z soon and wanted to know what people think of motorline Nissan in Tunbridge Wells in the south-east?

Also, are their any other garages in the area where people (particularly 370 owners) have had great post purchase experiences?

  7. This has been very helpful for me. The rattle in my dash is driving me frickin mental. :bangin: The only way I can seem to stop it is to put one hand on the dash, which for both safety and practicality isn't a workable solution.

Please lets have more suggestions of suitable, cheap deadening material that we can use!

  8. Think you're asking questions only you can answer fella. It's all down to what you want, though all I can say is it's a damn good price. After holding the price well for some time 370Z's seem to be seeing a bit of a drop at last.

On another note I like the Le Mans Blue, though not half as much as Azure.
