Rich,
I know I have some commitments which may take me up to Inverness 1st / 2nd week in Feb. So I will confirm closer to the date.

Very sad news

Love the 944, especially the Turbo. A really well engineered, furiously quick and a little bit under the radar for most folks.
I've been watching the 924S and 944 for a while, great cars. Almost bought a lovely 924S Le Mans a while ago, cracking little car, great chassis

Sarnie, what a wonderful car, it looks fantastic. I think it's known on the forum regards your knowledge and skill in terms of your area of expertise. Plus you clearly put in the effort in terms of hours. So good for you, you've certainly earned it.
Very wise purchase in my view, I don't think you'll lose money. Even if there's a blip in the market, I think this will always prove to be a decent investment.......and a hell of a lot of fun too!

Because I'm an idiot, I would buy either a 3.2 QV Ferrari Monidal or a 3.4T Ferrari Mondial......or maybe even a Ferrari 456 / 45GM

Such a great car Andy, one of the best kept Zed's on the forum.
Shame you're selling up but I can understand that sometimes its just right to move on. Whoever buys this is going to get a terrific car for their money..

Really lovely to catch up with everyone, cracking food, a few drinkies and a good natter about Zed's, holidays, family and everything else. Hope you all have a very happy Christmas!
Also looking forward to seeing how the trip to the South of France goes, lots of pics in the new year please!

We have a call bar on our number, it requires any "number witheld" or "unknown number" or other commercial number to anoune themselves - they actually have to announce their name. If its someone cold calling, they have to speak, then we don't need to pick the call up. To be honest......we have some of our family do that too, we tell them its a 'feature'
-
Guys, the better half and I are coming down with rotten colds, but don't worry. I (at least) will be attending the meal unless the cold contnues to get really bad.

Man it's fugly!

What time and where are we all meeting up Rich?
Let's meet up at outside Wagamama's at 7.15pm
Sounds like a good plan
-
Answer is staring you right in the face. Spend £1500 on an 8-10 year old 1.8-2.0 litre Mondeo that's done about 60-70,000 miles.
Keep the Zed + you have a cheap-ish 4 seater family wagon

Remember meeting Martin as we arrived for our first Wales meet, must have been 2010. Such a friendly and welcoming man, we couldn't help but feel relaxed and in good company.
A thoroughly lovely man and I'm shocked to hear this news. Always working tirelessly for the benefit of the club and members just because he loved doing it.
Very sad indeed and my thoughts go out to Liz and family

Sorry people can't make this
It's a shame you guys can't make it.
-
I didn't realise you had a limited time slot at ZaZaBazar, that's a bit weird.
-
Sorry guys been a bit poorly the last few days. Again, I'm happy to go with the flow to be honest.
Wherever is easy for people to get to. We've been out in Bath a couple of times, easy for me. Maybe a change of location is a good idea

Very nice Dave, lovely looking MX-5. Hope Mary loves it, hope you're both well

Glad to hear nothing is broken and there is no organ damage. Must have been very worrying indeed. I guess the next few weeks will be a lot of rest to let the bruising settle. Then a couple more to let thing ease. Wishing her all the very best for a recovery. No doubt you'll be doing all you can to make her as comfortable as possible

Fletch - "I don't quite know how to put this, gentlemen, but there is a thief among us..."
And
Fletch - "Do you know who made our raspberry blamange last week? Riggs and he's in here for poisoning"
Godber - "did he really?"
Fletch - "Yeah he's a cause celeb in his home town Newcastle under Lyme, come to think of it most his relatives are under lyme now"
Godber - "Is that why they call him arsenic Riggs?"
Fletch - "oh no, that's because he once sat on a razor blade"

Sorry guys. we're away this weekend

26 mpg?!? I'm assuming you run an AMG? Sorry wasn't me just being nosy
Yep C55 AMG, tootling in to the office this morning. My joy at hitting 26.1mpg was quickly dashed though. As bit of fluff from the microfibre cloth I keep in my drivers door pocket landed on the 'Moo pedal' and the mpg plummeted in to the teens

Had a nice looking black 350Z follow me along Wharf Road, just off J16 of the M4 and on to Mill Lane, before you turned off in to Waitrose. I was tootling along in the Merc in front of you.
Very nice looking Zed and apologies for the leisurely pace, I was attemping to hit my highest ever average mpg figure. I'm sure you'll be pleased to know that I managed to hit at 26.1mpg
Garage to fit clutch in Bristol?

Would recommend Horsham Developments too.You may also want to tak them about looking at doing the master / slave cylinder at the same time. As from my experience, its worth doing both while the car is in for the clutch change
