Took the zx10r out today and my god it's quick compared to the 600's I'm used to. It's a bright green one on a 07 plate with akroprovic carbon cans. I'm on cloud nine thinking of the bike so I will be getting one, one way or another! How much are kidneys going for these days? It's either sell the car and get a cheaper motor or keep it and get finance on the bike. So you guys think 15k or there abouts for the zed? Cheers guys

How is it I've never seen below 22mpg no matter how I drive? I even managed 38mpg from Chesterfield to Cornwall! It seems to drink more on cruise control rather than a light foot. I average about 29mpg with combined driving styles. Mine is a 313 model not sure if it makes a difference. Think I ended up getting around 450 miles to the tank which was full of v power.

I know I will probably regret it, but I may need to scratch that itch after riding the bike on Saturday. I forgot to add, I've just fitted ferodo ds2500 pads all round and also got the k1 + standard and also some lowering springs not yet fitted.

Hi guys, I've always had a scratch to itch and that is a zx10r (bike) and with me having my zed I cannot see it happening anytime soon so I'm thinking of trading it in for a cheaper car + bike. What do people think mine is worth as it seems hard to judge a price for pistonheads? Temper orange (awesome) 07 plate 313 GT with sat nav and rays. 53k miles Fsh with recent cosworth filters, hks plugs and full p3 done 1k ago. 6 months tax 11 months MOT Cheers guys, I've not decided yet it's just at the back of my mind ticking away thinking what if.

Hi guys, Just got my Z serviced and they mentioned that the O/S rear brake pads were severly worn compared to the other side which was fine, which indicated that the caliper might be sticking (i didnt even notice this driving) A couple of days have passed and the noise is getting much much worse, it sounds like the pad is lightly touching the disc and almost making a sort of grinding noise while on the move, once i apply light pressure it gets louder, but if i heavy brake there isnt much noise at all. It seems to role fine downhill so i presume the pad isnt sticking firmly to the disc. Hope this gives a good idea to people in the know and maybe you have some ideas what it could be? So now i need some rear brake pads and possibly some front as they are 50% worn so i might aswell replace them and do the whole lot. Anybody recomend some half decent pads for around £150 for the full set? cheers

Hi mate, my rays are good condition, think theres a little curb scuff on one and thats it, they are on my 07 so only 3 yrs old. Tyres all round have about 4mm left on them. What would you want your way?

As the title says, im after a set or either 19" or 20" alloys which fit the Zed well without spacers. I would consider most styles. Also after a set of lowering springs to get them sitting well. Dont want to pay through the nose for either. Cheers

Hi guys cheers for your info on the plugs, mine is an 07 and it's done 50k so wanted to get it all done at once. I told the garage to do one and I've took the car to noblemotorsports in Chesterfield and they were very friendly, helpful and doing the job for less than original quote. The salesmen at nissan were also rude when I stated it didn't need the manifold taken off and a new gasket aswell. It's the Mansfield garage think it's called Evans halshaw. Thanks again guys you've save me some pocket money :-)

They still don't seem to want to budge, saying it's going to be 4hrs labour for the plugs! What to do? Any other options guys? So all it needs is the strut brace and engine cover off? Mine is a 313 version does this matter? Thanks guys

I got 199 quoted as I'm supplying my own parts, for the p2 and plug change. Now they are saying another 199 just to fit the plugs as it's such a big job! Is this right that it's such a big job for the plugs? Bloody stealers!!!

Just in Nissan for a p2 and spark plug change. Is it true that it's a 3GS job for the plugs as the manifold and top of engine needs to come off which means 3hrs labour onto of service?

Saw a nice 350Z in Chesterfield town centre, with a private plate, guy had a bold head just like mine :-) and we exchanged nods. Anyone on here?

Hi guys, my 07 350z is due a service very soon. Its at 50k now so its the P2, its just turned 3 years old. Think i need; Spark plugs 5W-30 synethetic oil Oil filter Air filter Im wanting to get half decent parts and pay for a garage to fit them so i can save a little cash. Any decent garages recommended near Sheffield/mansfield/chesterfield? Is there anything else im missing off my list?

Hi all, Ive had the Japspeed K1 on my motor for about 2 weeks and the Mrs hates it as its too loud for her. Is anyone willing to swap (money either way) for a different aftermarket system thats abit more subtle? I got the System off one of the members on here and i think its about 12 months old. Cheers

No sorry, I meant to say does it fit underneath the car okay? Not sure if the exhaust setup is different from an 06 to an 07.
