Westside massive!
Oh dear, I'm Eastside
So how do we settle this, drive-by shootings?
For some reason the quote button doesn't work for me, I'm having to copy and paste!
Toggle editing button maybe..!!
Managed to fix the quote problem, I toggled editing button, then click on Multiquote. Cheers for the help

I've had SGS replacement gas struts on both our cars for the last 2yeRs and they've been excellent. Also just bought one of their trolley jacks too
Hawker
That's good to know, I haven't heard anything negative about them yet which is a good sign!

I think I've seen you drive through Wymondham?
I don't think that was me mate, I haven't been there in a long time!
Although there is a zed that looks exactly like mine I've seen once, think it was an HR. I was in a friends car as it came past the other way, I nearly exploded with rage thinking they had stolen my car
What colour is your zed? I had a look at your profile but couldn't see anything. I will keep an eye out for you on my travels

I've just dropped their sales team a line to see if they'll do us a discount
Cool
I've just noticed flex that you are just outside Norwich. Would that be east side or west side?

Just noticed that they do bulk pricing, may be worth seeing if there are any people interested in getting them? Has a similar thing been done on here with SGS before? Not a major issue as they seem reasonably priced, just seeing as grundy is after them too!

Awesome, that's good to hear. Yeah I think I will spend the extra on the uprated ones, that Nismo spoiler is a heavy lump!
-
Thanks for the fast replies, thats encouraging then!
I've had enough of being attacked by the boot on cold and windy days!

Morning,
Done a quick search and couldn't really find anything, has anyone had any experience with these?
Are they any good? Or are there other brands which work better?
Thanks

Cool, PM sent!

Best looking american car I reckon, In the right colour too!
I think they have managed to balance American muscle styling with modern features and looks brilliantly.

i do alright with vdc off

Will those reflectors fit a Nismo front bumper on a UK 56 plate car?
I am ashamed to say that after 4 years of owership I still have the standard aerial and reflectors!
I do like how the big aerial makes the Datsun look like a large radio controlled toy though

Not a lot you can do about this..!!!
That made me jump! They had fast reactions to scream before it hit the window, watching the video I only just had time to shut my eyes, and I was expecting trouble!!!

Wow that's awesome!
I heard on the radio this morning that they were visible in Norfolk!!! Gutted I missed it, will keep an eye open tonight just in case

Compared to many other European countries our road tax is very cheap (and I pay £500!)
I'm pretty sure that I saw somewhere our fuel costs are now similar to most European countries now, taking into account £ /€ conversions.
Factor in fairly high British wages in comparison I reckon we probably have it pretty good!
Although I do miss 16 year old me's £15 a year moped tax and £4.15 tank brim

First thing I thought when I heard the news on the radio was "B****cks"!
Haven't got facebook, don't think I ever will want it. Hopefully they won't mess with it in a serious way.

If you have no luck at the Toyota dealer with the GT86 there's always Subaru dealers with the BRZ!

Recovery?! He spanked it into the grass and got lucky!
Lack of talent is 95% the cause of that! says I.
I like how he carries on, just like when you stumble and trip up on the pavement and just jog it off so no-one notices (in your mind at least)
Bet he was buzzing with adrenaline for a while. I've heard they are quite a handful in the wet too

I don't see anything wrong here…
Oh wait, I see it now when I zoom in
The duct tape hides it so well
Actually that tape would be a perfect blend for a gunmetal zed!

You're absolutely right - throttle controllers make no difference to top end power, and that is felt as the revs near the red line. All they do is open the throttle body faster relative to how much you're pressed the pedal down. It makes the car accelerate more aggressively with the same amount of pedal input - a characteristic I found most welcome.
I've heard a few diesel cars do a similar thing as standard to make them feel faster (asking more from the engine for a given accelerator position) to make them feel quicker.
I'm not sure how true this is though
-
Put it on the line!
Hope you get it sorted out though.

SGS Gas Struts &/or Trolley Jack
in Group Buys
Posted
That's me sold then! I think I'll hang on and see if Flex gets a reply regarding a group buy
