Took some photos last weekend of my 350z, and a mates Evolution 8.

Reduced the size down to a third of the original so lost a bit of the quality so I could fit it on the page

Stan - Generally its not that bad, but i'd like it perfect lol. I am thinking of repairing like you said, I just wanted to check the price of a new one in case I make it look worse!

Hi people,

Whats the name for the silver plate bit on the inside of the passenger door, like a little grab handle. The driver side doesnt have one because the mirror switches are there. My one is a bit scratched so would like to price up a new one, but don't know the name, making searching difficult! Anyone know?

Got it for a bit over 16k in the end, with a years nissan warranty so thats pretty handy.

Pimm - I was thinking the exact same thing need to get them pipes shiny!

Used a tank of regular fuel but want to fill up with V-Power or something as the book says use RON98+. Wouldnt mind getting some of that bumper paint protector film stuff, but read it costs £450 which seems a bit steep!

Been on the forum for about a couple of months reading stuff, finally picked up a 350 on saturday

Its a black 2006 350z with 17,000 miles on the clock, rays wheels and the factory nismo kit (or whatever its called )

Sorry about the quality of the photos, the sun was low so the pictures look grainy.

I don't usually have internet access during the week, so if I don't reply to stuff, i'm not being rude!

Thanks for your help. The painful thing is I know that its exactly what I want, and at a good price - just a lot above the amount I wanted to spend on a car. Im so torn!

Cheers. The car had 17000 on the clock and matches exactly fit wise and paint work wise, aparantly fitted by a dealer, just wanted to check. As they seem uncommon in this colour with this kit just weighing up getting a slightly older/higher mileage car and fitting the kit. In all honesty though I would rather have one like this where it has been professionally fitted, by the looks of it though doesnt look like that is a common thing

It is a 56 plate for £16500. They dont want to budge on price. I understand this seems a good price for the condition / age etc, but I was looking to spend 12-14k, accepting higher mileage and older year etc

Looked at this car today, but it cost a bit more than I wanted to spend on one. What is the kit called, and does anyone know roughly how much it is? If I cant find a cheaper black car with this kit already on is it simple to get this one fitted? Im guessing its some sort of Nismo/Nissan fitted one, but not 100% as I'm still new to the world of the 350 I like it as it looks smart, but still discreet!

How Do . Where are you located bud?

I work away from home during the week, but on the weekends i'm usually near Great Yarmouth / Norwich area. In the next couple of months I'll be working a bit closer to home from then on, and doing less travelling, so MPG isn't as much of a problem

Test drove one without rays a month ago and loved how it drove. Sounded great too, much better than my rattly diesel! Sold in the time I went home to check insurance details etc though!

I've been looking around at 350z's for a while, and insurance is now kind enough to let me have one

Are there any common faults/problems that 350zs suffer from? Anything to pay particular attention to when looking at them?
