  1. Thanks for the replys, going to take all the advice and look for something south of the border,313 would be good.
  2. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201504303068567/sort/locasc/model/350_z/onesearchad/used%2Cnearlynew%2Cnew/channel/cars/usedcars/colour/blue/postcode/pa318te/radius/1500/make/nissan/page/1?logcode=p I agree with you on the price issue, prices are crazy here. This link is to a car i bought 3years ago for £10400,i traded when i retired for £9k and regretted it. As you can see it's put on very little miles but a whole lot of cash.Cant make any sense of the prices.
  3. Going to see this tomorrow ,did it belong to anyone on here? http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201504293035741/sort/locasc/page/1/usedcars/postcode/pa318te/colour/orange/make/nissan/radius/1500/model/350_z/price-to/20000/channel/cars/onesearchad/used%2Cnearlynew%2Cnew?logcode=p
  4. Anyone know what the latest reg car this kit was fitted to,ive seen 04/05 but no later. Was really after one with 296 or 313 engine, cheers
  5. Ok thanks, should sell easy not many around with red interior.
  6. Lovely car, dont suppose you fancy a part ex with a 62plate Leon 170bhp diesel Supercopa.
  7. Yeh mine was a 57 plate but the earlier 296 engine and no bonnet bulge, heard the later engine was better but mine went great and a lot more comfortable than the two Supra's I had before it.
  8. Since I was retiring I panicked a bit and sold the 350z and my daily driver for a 62plate Seat Supercopa,I now find I could still run a daily and a Z if the daily was a cheaper runaround.Or I could maybe keep the Seat and get a cheaper 350z,however I do like the look of the 370z.Guess best plan is as suggested test drive the 370 and go from there, cheers
  9. Sold my 350z last year and boy do I miss it.So do I buy another or go for the 370z.I have read the clutch and flywheel can be a problem on 370's so if i get one of those do I need a warranty?never had one on the 350.Also read manual has very heavy clutch is the paddle shift a better bet?
  10. Yeh i wish mate, sadly have to go the diesel route as i'll be doin lots of miles, hope to get back in a zed at some point ,loved it.
  11. Recently went to a garage to see about trading in the zed, they were very wary of taking it at all and tried to get a Nissan dealership in the group to underwrite it,they wouldnt take it at all saying it could bite them back due to clutch and flywheel problems for which the model is known apparantly. How often does this problem arise?.The car is a 57plate with 23k and in very good condition.
  12. Ok thanks, spoke to a mechanic friend today and he asked if it could be handbrake brake shoes sticking, but i didn't know if it has shoes for the handbrake.Wondering now, since it was mentioned,if it could be pads moving as i had them replaced not that long ago.Car into garage next week,if i get a cure will post it up.
  13. The first time i move the car in the morning and push the brake pedal(this is reversing out the car park)there is a clunk off the brake pedal. After this first movement it brakes fine and no noise off the pedal.Tried facing it forward in the morning and there is a clunk but not nearly as loud. This only seems to happen after the car has been sitting for quite a while.Your thoughts please.
  14. Meant to post this earlier but had problems with my p.c.Ordered plugs from Alex ,delivered next day, great price and fantastic service, cheers
  15. Well guy,s thanks for the responses, mechanic showed me the amount of oil drained out, these guy,s have done all my servicing in the past, and no it wasn,t 1.5 to top up that was what came out.Car is a 57plate one owner with 18.5k miles.Oil pressure was reading at first line on gauge around 30 i guess when running at 60mph,i had no idea what it should have been reading, and no oil light on.I know i should have dipped it before completing the sale but took the guy at face value. There were no noises at all from the engine and pressure is much higher now,but going by your comments i may have to trade it,cheers
  16. After buying my zed thought oil pressure was a bit low,put it straight into garage for service, when they drained the oil there was only 1.5litres approx in it.Previous owner must have run it like this. Will there be any damage to the engine with this little in it,cheers
  17. Well thanks to all for that information, narrows down my options a bit,was keen to get a 313 so may have to revise my colour choice
  18. Any idea why there are so many gunmetal and black cars around, been looking for a nice blue, azure or midnight or a sunset car with black leather but they seem pretty scarce from 07 on and very limited supply in Scotland. Also wondered if the later cars interiors are much better than origional model as is commented on in the motoring press.
  19. Hi guy's,hovering on the brink of zed ownership having just sold my n/a supra.I have seen one close to where i live an import with 20" wheels,is this a good idea or does it perform better on eighteens, cheers
