  1. Saw this car advertised elsewhere and spec mentioned 296bhp.I had a 57 plate identical to this and had searched for a later model at the time but was told Azure blue had been discontinued on later cars.

  2. I know it's subjective, but for me the 350 is far and away the better looking car.

Now admittedly I've never driven a 370, but on paper it doesn't appeal to me either, even discounting the looks thing. Plenty of upgrades to do to my zed (which is far more fun and rewarding than just buying another car IMO), and it's already plenty fast enough in both a straight line and round corners.

I used to think this when I had my 350 ,but my mindset has changed, I now think the 370 is much better looking, subjective really.

  3. Prices are all over the place for sure. I called for and missed out on a 2012 10k miler with sat nav earlier today for 19495, described "as new" and I'd have pushed for it cheaper anyway. I've seen the lower end and the higher end price wise for 2011 15-27k milers and tbh, there's little difference between the £16500 car to the £20500 car (none of which I'd describe as great condition and none of which I now own!!). All the dealers seem to have average cars for significant prices.

Personally, I will buy one at the price I feel represents the quality, age, miles, history and guide price of a car, for a good private purchase I'd expect something like a 2011 car with sub 30k miles that's actually in top condition to be 15-17k, with less miles, dealer/specialist history, and not needing anything... So much as a tyre, wheel refurb, ping dink sorted... To go for 16.5-18 private or trade. I walked away from another dealer car on autotrader at the weekend due to a nasty wheel arch scratch and dent, for 18.2k with less than 20k miles and otherwise very clean throughout.

But all the above is just me, though im a buyer right now...

As for your sale, try it at the higher end and see if you get a taker. Its what I'd do.

This week end I refused a deal on a 62 reg gt edition at 17500 as it needed dent and other marks attended to it had done 20k miles.I won't mind spending a bit more for a low mile immaculate car.

  4. Can anyone tell me if it is worth spending the extra on a 370 gt edition model? Was looking at a 62 plate but wondered if maybe a 2011 gt model was just as good a buy, slightly cheaper of course.

  5. Can anyone tell me if the tyre noise from the 370 is worse than the 350.It appears this is the only criticism of the car.Don't seem to remember my 350 being that bad .

  6. If your tempted to go boxster/cayman route go 2009 on as the earlier cars had layshaft problem that is well documented and expensive.Have looked at the 335 etc bm,s myself but there is simply no drama to there looks. Why not try a Supra TT with bpu around 400bhp and reliable if well looked after,or if you fancy scaring yourself a single turbo with 500bhp upwards.
