Well I am still not as well as i thought I would be by now.. so no 350Z today for me.. But the bloke at the garage has been very good and says just rearange it when I feel better.. So at least i will get the car just have to wait a bit longer..

Hi all.. Well I was all ready for Monday to go to Ascot and pick up my 350Z. Today feel rough been feeling off it since Wednesday, and have been told I have swine flu.. Got those tammy flu drugs.. Already arrange Monday with garage, but it's looking like it will have to wait a bit longer.. The guy at the garage has been so good as well, taken it off sale on the web and not even taken a penny of me yet,, will feel really bad if I can't pick it up Monday..

Just an AA bloke..lol I just spoke to him on the phone.. He said"The oil leak issue is just some oil oil on the under try, he told the garage to get it steamed cleaned then check it for any leaks.." He said" the paintwork looks good to the naked eye, but has has some work on it due to sufrace scrtaches, however the bodywork has no dents and has no sign of accident damage.." He told me"it drives very well no clutch wear which could be a problem if the car had been driven hard" Overall he said"It's a fine example as long as the oil leak and exhualst linkage corrosion issues are adreesed before purchase." I have been in touch with the garge and he said he would adress the issues and give the car a service.. so if he keeps to his word I thnk I'll try and do a deal..

However, if service criteria is applied a garage may advise replacement of bushes or mountings at a future service interval and this should be planned for as found necessary. Sub-frame/mountings - There is a light incidence of surface rusting on some underbody metal components including, suspension, sub-frames, brake and transmission units, this is consistent with climatic conditions and not detrimental. As a measure of preventative maintenance the areas should be cleaned off, and treated with an oil-based product. Exhaust Pipes - The rear exhaust system is heavily corroded, review condition and plan for replacement as necessary.

He has an HPI check at the garage so obviously I'll want to see that before doing a deal.. I ended up getting the AA to do the Inspection they will be there tommrrow morning.. The Rac gave me a right run around.. They first of all said Thursday.. I said I would have to check with the garage that he's hold it.. When the RAC rang me back they said they couldn't do it till Monday Anyway the AA will be there as I said.. so by tea time when I get the verbal report I should know more.. Followed by an e mail with a full report and a printed one through the post...(Mind you I'll be after another car by the time i get that the way the post is these days)

Well I sen him another e mail saying subject to an RAC Inspection i would be very intrested in doing a deal.. Still waiting for him to get back to me on that one.. I think it would be well worth the RAC going over it, they have more idea than I do.. i just drive cars..

This has just become intretsing.. He has increased his offer for my TT to £7500.. the car is taxed till end of December.. Now if I could get some petrol, I may just go for a look..
