  1. Sad to say I'm selling my much loved Nissan 350z Roadster/Convertable I have owned her for 3 years and it's only ever been used on sunny days in winter it's had it's coat on (Genuine 350z cover) and garaged needless to say the car is absolutly mint inside and out. It's had one previous owner who also only used it for special occassions. I had new Bridgestones fitted all round a few weeks back and they have done only 100 miles also while the wheels were off I had genuine Brembo brake pads fitted all round (Zmanalex).

The car has a long MOT and tax with all keys, manuals etc.

    Price Sold

    Here's her spec

    GT Pack

Alezan Tan Leather Mesh seats ( factory optional extra)

    Brembo Brakes

Bi-Xenon self leveling lights with power wash

    Electric heated seats and mirrors.

  2. Got a chap from Denmark interested in my car...

If he does buy it, what do I do with the slip? Do I give him the green bit as usual and just send the rest to the DVLA?

Could easily find this out on google, but want to hear it from someone on here who has had experience with it themselves.

    Ta!

if you look on the logbook there's a section for export. :)

  3. how did either of the previous owners tax the vehicle without a logbook?

The new keepers supplement I got off the Stoke guy had been used once but you only get one "go" of it as the post office stamps it.

The guy I'm buying it from has only had cause to tax it once as he's only had it less than a year and he taxed it online although obviously never had the disc. Although you're meant to display a disc it didnt cause too many problems as the coppers can check tax status from your numberplate.

I have never heard it being able to tax a car with the supplement.

  4. I agree, if you think your going to be cutting off rusty nuts and bolts on the car with a Dremel forget it, go to Selco builders merchants there selling 3" angle grinders for a tenner at the moment.

  5. Dremel  are crap don't waste your money on one unless it's a tool that will be rarely used I have been playing with R/C stuff for over 20 years and have got through loads of Dremels mainly the bearing in the shaft wears out and they vibrate not good for very small drill bits or precision work.

Pay a bit more and buy a Proxxon there German made and of a higher quility since I bought mine some 8 years ago it's been faultless

  6. It's been illegal to have stick on number plates on caravans for a few years (i know cos I got one) and caravan dealers are not allowed to supply numbers or backing for DIY so I cannot see why it's going to be different for cars.

  7. ACE, make sure you HPI the black car.

For some reason I seem to remember pictures of a black 40th Anniversary car that was on ebay i think as an accident damaged car, looking very poorly for itself.

May not be this car but the pictures and reg look familiar to me......

Thanks for the heads up but I always HPI cars myself even from dealers I was in the car game myself many years back and you would be surprised how many cars are SOR (sale or return) from trader mates even the big dealers!

  8. Thanks for the notice Chris I was wondering about the air seats as I have only seen them on the roadster I'm not worried about parking sensors I have just picked up some Nissan rear ones cheap off Ebay.
