I've not had much time to post on the forums recently, but have got round to building my twin turbo engine:
It's spec'ed up to do up to (read as "less than") 800bhp - really looking forward to getting it in the car

We supplied/fitted/mapped a 370Z recently with the Armytrix exhaust - a really good bit of kit - does sound good
-
I've already got one thanks. Just got to bolt it all together
-
They only make around 340bhp standard - to get to 400+ is going to cost a lot of money...
-
I'm not sure what the fees are at the moment - I think they were about £2-300 a round for a one hit wonder. To do the championship its £1.5-2k. Sorry for the vagueness!

I had forgotten I'd done this, but here is my report from my last TA round: http://www.h-dev.co.uk/index2.php?page=TimeAttack

You'll have a good time regardless of winning or not.
I've still got to build up my engine and sort out a load of other things, so the chances of it all being finished are slim. I've got a couple of customers (VX220t and an RX7) who are sposed to be entering, and I'll go along to the events to support them I expect.

Jez & Craig at Horsham Developments for all their hard work on my Zed.
Thanks Gareth - you've got a very tidy car there

I've competed a few times in my old 200SX.
I'd really recommend it - its a great series, pretty friendly and good fun. I was similar to you in that I wanted to do something competitive after doing loads of trackdays.
I was planning on entering 2015 in my 350 but I probably won't be ready. The last time I entered I just did a "one hit wonder" at Snetterton in 2010, won the class

Glad its better now - let me know if they find anything regarding the bank 2 lean weirdness at 1800rpm.
I'll get the graphs over to you asap - could you pm me your email address?

I've got some pics of it during the charger install:

Glad its sorted
We checked out the disks because Si mentioned the vibration during the service. The front left disk had a load of DTV (disk thickness variation) - limit is 0.015mm his had around 0.05mm - so well out of spec.
I think the vibration was worse after we did the bushes because the old bush on the side with the wonky disk was barely attached to the arm.
-
The spacers are 8mm thick, which is about the same as 5/16". You could sand them down or use stacks of M10 washers.

Turns out my ISP has been on an email black list so quite a few of my emails have been going into peoples spam folder - hopefully its all sorted now though.
Anyway, see you soon

All sorted and booked in now - I did reply to both Daves emails with in a couple of days

I had a V10 Touareg - was a great car (comfy, quick, excellent at towing) but got through tyres very quickly and the front diff failed which cost a few grand to fix.
-
No, they won't be static routes - ISPs advertise which networks they can route to, to other ISPs. More networks/routes were added to the Internet which took the number of available routes on some routers to over 512k which is a limit on some routers.
I don't know any more than that to be honest - also been out of the networking game for ~10 years - the protocols etc have prob changed a bit.

Going by the guff I got from my host, some routers have a 512k entry route table limit and get unstable if more routes are added - a load of extra routes were added this morning which took a few routers over this limit.
-
Apparently a load of ISPs had / are having problems because their routers are hitting their routing table limits.

Are you sure its fuel fumes and not from the open engine breather? If you can smell fuel when driving then it'll be a fuel leak or an exhaust leak. If its an oily smell it'll probably be oil fumes from the breather - I think this is more likely as the vent was right next to the air intake for the cabin?
-
Bugger - not good news. I've still not got round to fitting my kit...
-
If it really stuck we've had to get the car in the air, weld on a piece of 1" box section tube to the central part of the bush and hammer it downwards. Sometimes they can be really really stuck on.
-
So sorry about the splitter - you should have heard the swearing. Anyway, like I said I'll sort you out.
Hope you get the pulley issue sorted

You can still see the pics and spec without being a FB member
Yeah, should be
We CNC machined the block and then reversed the design and machined a plate to fit in the block - not tried this before, hopefully it strengthen it up a bit.
