+1. Yeah..them driving through the gypsy village and spending the night under the dam. Is it just me but Top Gear seems to be testing out just lavish cars that only footballer could afford. Every car road tested on that show is worth 6 figures!! Or the top end of 5 figures. Fifth Gear is probably the least popular of the two but sometimes they have the right balance and mixture of cars. Top Gear has better entertainment values though.

+1. Think the price for second hand Zed had gone up in recent months. Think 11k with good haggling skills will make your Zed hunting easier if you can afford it.

Have a look under Servicing..Praises and Woes. Tells you all the good garages and the bad ones. Think there should be quite a few in your area.

Hi Ian..I'm near King's Mill. So do you have a garage in Kirby then? It's difficult to find Zed specialist in the Nottinghamshire area. Nissan in this area Mansfield and Nottingham are both rubbish.

Any meets around here?...err..think there was one near Calverton not long ago. Not been to one yet.

Had bits and bobs done on the Zed. Been very impressed so far. They seem to do quite a few 300ZX and have started doing a few Zeds in the area. Will post an update once i have few more things sorted out.Ask for Mick the chief technician and say Michael with the Zed recommended you.

I've got to ask though, is the steering meant to be heavy and the gear change quite stiff??

Because I’ve been used to a Skoda where everything is light and doesn't feel connected to anything. So driving my zed home last night, it felt like a real effort to turn the wheel or change gear. Maybe I’m just out of practice!

I bet there are bound to be some Chelsea fans on here. Jpaero..you are right. What an a**sehole! There are times when you feel that Sir Alex remarks about bad refereeing were slightly harsh. But he was damn right about yesterday.

I rang Bishops 3 times in Oct 09 and each time they promised someone would returned my call but never did. More than that, what put me off was that each time I had to ring them back and mentioned that someone was due to call me back but never did, the person on the other end of the line didn't even apologise for their colleague and continued on talking as if I hadn't brought it up! Its a small thing, but to me is an indicator of any companies customer service.

 

I had exactly the same issues with Nissan Mansfield. Poor customer service. Wrote a letter of complaint to the main head office and the local dealer. The principal manager of Nissan Mansfield rang me up to apologise and he wanted to sell me a 370Z. WTF.. Told him to shove it up his a**se. Would never set my foot in Nissan garage anymore unless I am really desperate.
