I have knocking from (what seems to be) the front right wheel.

I gave it to TGM Sport in Fleet for 2 weeks but Tom couldn't find anything causing it. He said there was a bit of play in the front drop links so they got replaced but the noise is still there.

Though in my case, it's not related to turning, it's when I'm driving over uneven surface at slow speeds (<40 mph).

I'm beginning to think that maybe it's just something banging against the body, like the wheel arch lining plastic parts or maybe the bumper or so.

But it bugs the hell out of me...

You don't have to go to Geneva to see it up close and personal..u could tell from pictures in the press that it's Not my cup of tea..i am afraid..just like the Porsche Panamera..just looks wrong

Not to rock the boat, but old people happen, accidents happen. My Grandpa (70ish) was knocked out by someone (40ish) after he accidentally scraped their car. A bit OTT as far as i was concerned as insurance is there for a reason. Yes it's upsetting when a car gets damaged but lets not tolerate violence eh? Most of these old folk fought for our country years ago, i just hope somebody gives me a break when i f*** up when i'm old.

+2..sorry to hear about what happened Buster..they are right..at least the old chap stayed behind to tell someone it was his fault..he could have just left the crime scene. I have had this on my Nismo N1 fibreglass bumper twice and it's not a very expensive repair..should be as good as new when it's all done

Ah..i see JLR employees..bet it must be a cool job testing new cars

Lots of new cars seems to have reliability issues these days..must be all the electronics/electrics

It's probably best to buy secondhand though..only time will tell if there's any reliability issues just like any new cars but then again u are covered by manufacturer's warranty

 

Just out of curiosity, the car is not on the market yet..how did the two of you get to test drive the car?

Most customer service of any marque(even the German ones) are the same these days..all they care about is getting u to part with your hard earned and they couldn't care less what happens after that..poor after sale customer service

I think they have to create a school/college/course about business etiquette for all dealership staff..sales and service team!

Still think it's cool..very sporty indeed..best looking Range Rover..definitely!

That's definitely on the cool wall..like that a lot and the price is not bad either..would have thought it would be a £50-£60K car. Much better looking than most SUV on the market at the moment..hope the interior/gadgets is as good as the exterior.

The other option is let the passenger out of the car first before you move the car into the garage and park the passenger near side a bit closer to the wall. That should leave you plenty of space to get out on your side

+1..i think their head gets bigger with bigger bank balance It's OK if they want to crash and burn their car but just don't get some other innocent road users involved....it's loss of innocent lifes that annoys me most

What's up with some of these overpaid footballers. Lots of them have nice flash cars but they can't handle the power..and drives like idiots! It's a good thing no one was injured in this car crash..he is not the first footballer to have done that. Too much money to burn i say..

You will own one some day..as the price of them have come down quite significantly in the last few months. Probably best to buy the car off a member here..most of them has well known history(bcos all the owner put a post up whenever there is a problem with their Zed..bad move ) and they are well looked after..
