  1. Unfortunately the time has come to sell my 350z, due to a new house purchase. This is my second Z, and will not be my last either - they're great cars, and I will have another one I bought this one just over a year ago, and have only done about 2000 miles in it over the year as its my second car. Its in great condition throughout, and flew through its MOT last Saturday. I've also just put 6 months tax on it Its a UK supplied 54 plate GT, in Kuro black with a black interior, and all the usual GT refinements. It has an immaculate set of Rays alloys on it, and excellent Bridgestone Potenzas too. Original '350z' floor and boot mats are there, and it has the Nissan wheel spats too, colour matched in Kuro. It has the Nissan Bluetooth module fitted in the glovebox. I also had the aluminium trim on the steering wheel, and the rear internal strut brace refinished in Kuro as they were both scratched when I bought it. I'm the 3rd owner, and it has done 53000 miles. It has a full main dealer service history, though its due a service soon but has only done the 2000 miles since the last one. The brake pads were all changed 1000 miles ago to the EBC Yellowstuff ones all round. It has a few tasteful extras fitted: 20mm spacers Summit strut brace ( with the painted bits refinished in Kuro) JWT pop charger Scotts Carbon Fibre battery and fluid covers and surrounds Spills grounding kit Nismo rad cap Nismo oil cap Nismo gear knob Z wheel centre caps Z badges front and rear PIAA wiper blades Honda bee-sting aerial It gets valeted regularly, and is in very good condition all round, with no dings and dents - just a couple of very minor surface scratches here and there from 50k miles of use. The interior is in excellent condition too, though there is a slight nick ( about 14mm long in the side of the upper right squab on the drivers seat (behind your shoulder so you never see it !) Heres the pics taken today 10.09.2010 : And this is the nick in the drivers seat squab: I'm in Cobham, Surrey 2mins off the M25 / A3 junction. The price is £10250 ono. No trades thanks, and no canvassers. Cheers Tony
  2. Welcome along, and good luck with the purchase - looks nice Tony
  3. Hi Cragus I'm just about to put my Zed up for sale, and if it goes with the CF covers, you can have my stock ones I'll let you know. Cheers Tony
  4. These are still available if anyone is interested - £50 per set Tony
  5. Well I got 5 mins today to have a quick look.... opened up the bonnet to find the pop charger no longer connected to the inlet pipe, but rolling around in the front corner of the engine bay I fixed it back in to place (the jubliee clip had worked loose) and checked all the battery / grounding kit connections which were all fine, and the battery was clamped firmly in place. I wasnt able to take it for a spin, but will do in the morning - hopefully that'll of been the problem. Note to self - lift the bonnet and take a look before posting about problems Tony
  6. Thanks guys I'll be checking the battery and earthing connections before I do anything else Is there a benefit to doing an ECU reset anyway, or should it only be done if really necessary ? Tony
  7. Evening all I havent used my 54plate uk GT (53k) much since before Christmas as I've been working away. It sad outside through the winter snow for 7 weeks without being touched and as such the battery died. I replaced the battery and all seemed fine....until yesterday. I was out on the M25, the first motorway run I've done in it since the battery change. When cruising at around 2500 rpm in any gear the engine stutters, and feels like it wants to cut out. If you accelerate it pulls fine, and if you lift off the throttle it idles fine, but try to hold the speed steady and it stutters. After the M25, it cut out on me on 2 occasions, both times after pulling away enthusiastically through 1st and 2nd, then braking hard - the engine died, and all electrics, power steering went off too, which was a little unnerving ! Both times it restarted straight away and seemed fine. The fuel tank was low, with 25 miles showing as remaining. It is pretty stock, except for an earthing kit and a pop charger. So what to do ? I'm thinking an ECU reset having had the flat battery. Do you think a throttle position reset too ? Any thing else that might be the cause ? Thanks for any help. Tony
  8. Hi Les Yep, still got the chrome set. They're 58mm diameter, so it'd be worth checking your wheels to see what size they take. Cheers Tony
  9. Sorry Rich, I've been away. PM replied to now Tony

  13. Hey Scott, the covers have just arrived - look great, thanks. The surrounds arrived yesterday too, so I'll be fitting them up this weekend. Are you planning to do an engine cover ? Cheers Tony
  14. Cool if they are though I'm not sure if I'm gonig to make envy on Saturday Tony
  15. OK cool, if Mark can get the other set at the weekend I've paypaled you Scott - if you could post them that would be great thanks, as I dont think I'll make it on Saturday Cheers Tony
  16. Hi Mark, you can have these ones - its the least I can do after your help sorting out the paint bits Cheers Tony
  17. My 04 UK GT is different, as it has the steering wheel controls. 2 Torx security screws hold the airbag in place, so once theyre undone the airbag comes off (disconnect the wire too). You can then pull the other electrical connector in the steering wheel, undo the 19mm steering column nut, and pull the wheel off. 3 small philips screws hold the trim on the back of the wheel, and once that is taken off you can get to the the final 2 screws that hold the steering wheel switched in place. The aluminum trims clip in to these switch housings. I havent tried it yet, but I reckon you can refit everything to the car without the ali trims (I have done this bit) then I think the ali trims will just clip on without removing anything. I'll let you know when I get mine back from the painters. Tony
  18. I'll have them Scott - I can fit them all at the same time as the surrounds . Dont want to jump anyone in the queue though Let me know, ta. Tony
  19. Hi Scott Yep the covers come off, but you have to take the wheel off to do it unfortunately. Its a case of airbag off, then wheel off so you access the trim screws and get the trims off. If you have steering wheel controls, the trims clip onto the actual switch housings. If you could make them in CF we'd still have the problem of the decals though. I'm looking into having decals made to go on the actual switches themselves rather than the trims - like the 07-09 wheels I believe. Tony
  20. Hmm, not sure on that one Maxi' - anyone else know ? Still some left Tony
  21. Unfortunately Mr Lizaed has sold his, so .... - can anyone confirm that the 07-09 wheels are interchangable - and has anyone got one for sale ??? Thanks Tony
  22. Thanks guys. Yep I'd spoken with rtbiscuit on this, plus I have another friend who does vinyl, but also thinks it would be too small. R35Lee, sounds like a good plan - are the 07-09 wheels and steering wheel controls interchangable with a 2004 car ? Cheers Tony
  23. Hi The aluminium trims on my steering wheels trims are a bit scuffed up - I guess the previous owner wore rings, and held the wheel there Anyhows, as I'm getting the rear strut cover, and door switch panels refinished in Kuro, I'm going to have the aluminium trims done in Kuro too The only problem is the lettering for the steering wheel controls. Its only 2.5mm tall, so I'm wondering the best way to replace it ? I can match the font, and lay it out, but after that its tricky. A friend can do vinyl lettering but hes not sure he can go that small, and I think the vinyl itself will be too thick. Theres also white letraset transferrs available, but lining up each letter perfectly with the next will be a nightmare. Anyone have any other ideas ? Thanks Tony
