  1. Here's something you don't see every day.

    A Ford F150 SVT Raptor

All I can say is that it's HUGE!!!! Makes the range rovers and Q7 we have here look like tiny cars.

It was here for some minor repair work. Fortunately we had a spray booth big enough to cater for this massive pick up.

  2. Thanks Sam. :)

Its funny because I've really liked having my Rays Anthrecite, I couldn't of asked for a better look with Rays on. But the time is now to finish the look, and 18's do look a little lost now.

The annoying part is just the cost, I'd hate to spend all that dough and not like them. Its not as though you can send them back either.

Might have a chat with Cal to see if he could do me a super dooper photoshop.

Hit me up for a Photoshop any time buddy :)

Just had a proper read of this and the work/attention to detail is amazing! Depresses me as my car is so tatty in places and in desperate need of the RTP treatment! I will be in touch (again) soon Taras! Lack of funds currently :(

Car is a credit to you Ian :) and I promise I'll sort my ride out and come to see yours in the metal very soon!

Im sure we can work out some kind of payment plan? ;)

    Here's how the prototype looked.

A small bit of tweaking needed but otherwise its quite good.

As a HR Cooling panel it has 2 directed channels to the two inlets and not left open for air to escape.

We've taken consideration of the bonnet stay rod too which isnt obstructed.

  4. Not really sure were to post this so Admin pls move this thread if needed to.

So I wanted to find some information about the 350Z carbon prop shaft.

Information such as total length, measurements on the fittings/bolt formation on each end and weight.

Does anyone have one lying around that can help me measure it up?

    Thanks

  5. PU is not ideal for this kind of application.

Its only good for small parts or lips and skirts.

If you've ever seen or worked with a PU bumper, you'll be quick to understand why it's a bad idea.

PU is simply not rigid enough for Aero use. Its heavy in density compared to a composite of the same thickness and it'll flop, warp and drag under pressure so if you use it as a wide flat diffuser, it'll just be shaven across the motorway.

There are lots of good pictures of this diffuser on the internet if you search TS 350Z diffuser. Here's one of the origionals.

  6. I intend to use the same re-enforced fibreglass we use for our front race splitter which unless you hit head on to a kirb or wall it won't get destroyed. However I think if anything was to be crashed like that it will be in bits even if it was made of carbon.

The reason why I intend to make them in fibreglass is just to kick start this production.

Its quicker and cheaper for me to make fibreglass items and then make carbon ones at a later date.

With this group buy it'll be at a very attractive price of £290 +PP.

We can always look into the carbon ones later on.

  7. I prefer the import rear anyway, having it on a CS rear is an added bonus for me, it's stunning. I think if/when I get hold of a Top Secret diffuser, i'll fit an import bumper at the same time.

Ive been after one of those diffusers for a year now
