  1. I removed the non return valve and it seems clear, as can blow air through it. When the non return valve is removed, the pump should still push water through shouldnt it? Think I will be contacting zmanalex for his services once again for a new pump!!

  2. All, front windscreen washers have stopped working. I have had the Y section off the tubing and its not blocked. The return valve is not blocked as I can blow air through it. The wiper jets are not blocked? The headlight washers and rear washer is working fine. Does the headlight washer and windscreen wiper use the same motor? Any suggestions, please

  3. Sorry for the late response. Yes I did get mine sorted. I am no mechanic, so excuse my explanation as I understood it. Apparently 4 sensors read the fuel in and out, 2 at the front of engine and 2 at the back. The 2 at back wasnt switching properly, which effects the fuel mixture. This caused the car to be confused. THe ESP light off and skid light on was due to the car slightly jumping (hardly noticeable) which caused the car to think it was skidding? This also caused the engine management light to come on. The garage replaced 1 sensor £50 and cleaned up the other. Good result as no issues since.

     

    Maybe someone on here (as plenty have very good understanding) can simplify in understandable terms, my explanation?

  4. Why or what is the purpose for the small clips sticking out on the pads for? The back pads all have the clips attached, but the fronts only on 2 of the 4? Does it make a difference ahich side the fronts go in? Does the one with the clip supposed to go on the inner side / outer side, or doesnt matter?

  5. It wont matter what you get electronically mate. I have had the Origin B2 with a radar blocker for years. Thought it made me speed proof, which 4 years ago found out it didnt. Was caught from behind speeding. Doing 43 in a 30, and the copper said I went through a red light, which I didnt. Ended up in court. Sit down for this: 7 points, £1200 fine and my solicitor cost £1400. This was the best lesson I ever had.

  6. Thanks, yes that is the procedure as I know it. Is it the engine management light flashing that I am supposed to be videoing for the codes? At the end of the ecu procedure it states turn off and start engine? Am I supposed to be videoing throughout the ecu reset procedure?

  7. Thanks M13YKF. Is this the reset using the ignition on for 3 seconds, dip the accelerator 5 times in 10 seconds then dip for 10 seconds then out for 10 seconds, so on and so forth. If this is the reset required, then which light sequence should I video?

  8. I have an issue and require help from those that have the knowledge, please. Whilst driving through town at 30mph yesterday, the car, kind of jumped, then the engine management light + ESP off light + the skid light all illuminated together. I continued to drive home without any problems. When I stsrted the car today, the ESP off light + skid light was off but the engine light still on. After driving for 10 minutes the same thing happened, all lights illuminated? Any help is appreciated.

  9. I understand people buying for own use, even if its 1 for every room, but to buy and sell for profit is tight. Ive been on here for years, and bought plsnty of stuff in the past for the Zed for others here and not made a penny. Suppose thats just me! No worries.
