that's what happens when you take a Corsa off-roading for a month!
Beat me to it!

did the four tyres come with a free cat
Yes mate...special offer!!
Getting these fitted tomorrow, just taken the passenger seat out and loaded them up in the car...bit of a squeeze, but I'm quite impressed you can get 4 tyres in.
Dammit! I want my free cat!
Now I feel cheated!

Why didnt they buy a scooby or evo? Easy get one for sub 5k!
This was exactly what I was thinking. I assumed I must have missed some important qualifying rule at he start of the show.
As for having lost its way, it did that years ago. I don't expect it to be a car show anymore and as such really enjoy it.

I like that a lot mate

Not sure I see the problem with posting this in the format used today.
Nobody has been named and it serves as a decent reminder to people that not everyone with a ramp and a Snap-On tool kit should be trusted with their favourite toy.

Seem to hear far too many of these sort of stories recently

Should of get VredestEIns
Not for the stock Rays...I'd save such extravagance for a nice set of 19s...
im used to the I before E except after C rule! Forgive my foolishness
No, no, no...forgive my pedantism!!
I think all the I & E rules go out of the window when applied to anything from the continent!!
That's not pedantism...THIS is pedantism
Should HAVE GOT VredestEInsSeriously though, got my Falkens from Camskill a few weeks ago and the improvement over the RE40s that were on it before is just sublime

Needs lowering and spacers

Shame I'm not closer to you, I'd bite your hand off at that price.
Best of luck mate.

make 2 notches in your trim for the wires to sit in where they come out.
Yep, it'll be the wires coming out from the surround that means it doesn't sit flush. Alternatively, leave the GPS antenna behind the dash on top of the cubby box - that works just as well and means no wires can be seen. I put my microphone wire behind the dash and up the A pillar to the headlining.
I also didn't screw the HU to the dash trim - just screw the HU in and then slot the dash over the top as you have - and no problems with mine
Ditto, Pioneer GPS antenna works fine from inside the dash sitting under the gauge cluster.
Mic wire I fed through the holes on the right of the centre console to under the steering wheel (bit fiddly with fat fingers but persevered) then up the A pillar. Mostly invisible except when the vibrations bounce the wire out of one of the cracks occasionally.

I've seen worse.
I am a bit curious why he got a dyslexic to make the Z350 signs tho.

Arguably you had a far more pleasant afternoon than those of us that got to watch the game.
I know I'm jealous

It's not really necessary to suck the air out first.
Air is 78% nitrogen anyway and considering it will start at 1bar pressure putting it up to 2.4bar (35psi) means less than 10% of the contents of your tyre will be oxygen/trace gases. The pressure differential caused by tyres heating up is caused mainly by the interaction of hydrogen and oxygen (moisture) which drops the effective volume of particles capable of causing the pressure increase to any discernible level even lower.
Not a lot of point putting it in your tyres for pure road use but at the same time there's no real point refusing it if it's offered.
Good for track time though.

Isn't the steering wheel upside down?

If you have to leave it that long I'd recommend covering the crack with insulation tape (inside and out) to save water getting in and making it worse while you're away.
A mate of mine actually came back to his merc to find the crack had gone from top to bottom and popped out so it overlayed on the edge.

I think the most hassle free option is the Scorpion as said before.
I have a K2 that fitted without any problems but I've read the horror stories other members have had with them.

They seem to finally be providing iPhone users with a level of technology similar to that which all other phone manufacturers have been providing for the last couple of years.
Still find android phones to be better personally.

What Yokomo said
I looked into that system with a different nav when I was upgrading and it truly is the nuts. If I'd had the budget I'd have had it for sure.

Can't believe I didn't see this when you first put it up, would have bitten your hand off for them.
Best of luck with the new car mate.

Don't talk to me about golfs, I had one before the Z.
I still glare evilly and spit whenever I see one drive by.

The styling is odd when you open the window a bit the rain pees down not only down the door and your arm but also your face, the plastics are supplied by Fischer Price and you are tone death above 40mph due to the rumbling road noise which is amplified by the shape I think?
You sure it's not a Z?

I put:
"I only live down the road"
I tried being clever for the 370/GTR contest and got nowhere so went back to basics for this one.
Professional audio installers, YEAH RIGHT!!!

I looked at a couple of local shops when I wanted mine upgraded, was shocked at the lack or expertise and/or confidence in their own abilities when taking on the job (which was simpler than yours, no factory sat nav).
Eventually I did it myself, up to a point. When I finally gave in I rang a mobile tech local to my work who wandered into the car park, nosed at the wiring for 10 mins then explained (in great detail) exactly what the problem was and how to fix it.
He'd never worked on a Z before but sat in his van fabricating the necessary loom parts and it was all over in an hour. Just goes to show that it's not always the case that someone with a pretty shop front is going to be more capable than the bloke in the Astra van and dirty overalls.
