  1. It all depends what hertz they are running. The one I'm after is 600hz,which is the refresh rate.

carefull about this... 600hz is the bus speed. NOT the refresh rate. It is better but it's relying on old interpretations of that kind of figure.

As for fuzzy plsma, yes they do look like that in the shop when linked to 40 other tv's. get them to connect a blu ray to a full 1080P HD screen and get the popcorn. I nearly bought a non - 3D 60" for the same price as a 50" 3D. But then thought ah feck it, what am i doing ??? I bought the sammy 50 and after setting up is super fabbo.

Be aware, if you are running a AV system you will need HDMI 1.4. I had to buy a new amp too........ I soooo wanted that number plate too.....

DO NOT BUY YOUR HDMI CABLE IN CURRYS !!!!!!!!!

Go to ukhdmi.com real good and real cheap compared to high street. i bought a 4M and a 2M for £45 delivered. A 3M in Currys was £85 :scare::rant::angry:

  2. LED /LCD are best for sharpness, as long as nothing moves ! For action etc Plasma is still king. I bought the dog's wotsits from Pioneer 6 years ago for 3K, bloody.fan.tastic. I have only just updated it, as in boxing day sale.

i bought the 50" Samsung - second only to the panasonic(just) - that came with two sets of glasses and a 3d blu ray player for £889 from curry's. it's bloody brill. There is some floaty things in the room but it seems to be more about depth. The image seems to just sink into the wall. Size is everything of course but the 60" is about £2K.

Of course you do know GT5 is in 3D............ B)

have a good look around AVFORUMS for more informed info.

  3. Don't knock the digital darkroom ! Every pro in the world uses it. Why shouldnt you ? When I have printed stuff in a wet dark room there was so much that could be done to the image. What grade etc... The digital dark room is the same, only much much better. getting the exposure just so and colour saturation and so on is as much part of the creative process as knowing what to do with the camera. promise :-) It's loadsa fun.

Try some creative cropping. change it to a black and white or maybe sepia tone etc etc

There is no 'cheating', only fun.

Don't believe any miserable b'starde who says digital aint real photography either. The Model T and the fabbo 350Z are both versions of the same thing. Which would you prefer to drive :teeth:

  4. Camera work is good, editing snappy ..I like it ! The colour balance needs a bit of work though. Still looks Home Movie pallette of colour. Plenty of filters in your software to play with this. keep pushing !!!!!! never look back :-)

  5. I fell...... Yes please Mrs, I would like my crimbo pressie NOW !

HHAHAHAHAAH ! Logitec wheel and GT5. Only took an hour to install

I am a bit crap but getting better :boxing: Working my way through licences then got bored and went into the racing. YAY ! First place on first race and WE ARE OFF GO GO GO !
