  2. , i have an idea of the mileage too! the z in that picture looks like a budget R8!
  3. Just dropped my car down to the bodyshop today to get my nismo splitter fitted...... Really looking forward to what will hopefully be a good result, and i do trust the guy i left it with, but i really hate leaving my car in the hands of someone else! (may have 0-ed the clock to make sure no one decided to take it for a "road test"!) Anyway, all being well i should have it back at around 5ish and will try and get some pictures up. Jak
  4. Thanks matey, Yeah loving the Purple Haze actually - was a bit put out by the idea of spending £30 on a wax but my god is it worth it!!! Forgot to add these too, was pretty impressed! Jak
  5. Right then, as promised here are some pictures from my recent attempt at some more in depth detailing....(for me anyway, usually stopped at a wash and a polish!) Firstly i washed the car using a pressurewasher and my usual autoglym shampoo, then clayed using some megs quick clay with quick detailer, then polished with autoglym super resin polish, then waxed with DoDo Purple Haze (&tyreblacked + Fast Glass etc) Next we have a pic of my Z with a Mini JCW S GP we just took in part ex - SO FUN! Lastly a few night/arty pic attempts....... Enjoy! Jak

    Help Please!!

Anybody in the Milton Keynes-ish area a dab hand at fitting front lips? The more i think about fitting my nismo splitter myself the more i worry about it!! Jak
  8. Have PM'd Lee, unfortunalty he dosnt have one at the moment Cheepest price i have from Nissan Atm is £97+VAT So once again....... any one got one laying around? Jak
  9. Thanks Guys, I promise to get pics up soon! I have also noticed that it isnt curing on the sponge hense not washing it! As far as thin layers i dont think i can be doing too badly as bugger all has gone from the pot and i have done the bonnet 4 times and the rest of the car 2-3 times. On another note - it seems to work pretty well on the back of my iPhone too! Jak
  10. I have recently bought, and used, some Dodo purple haze that came with a free applicator sponge + Microfibe towel and i am pretty pleased with the results will eventually getting round to uploading the pics! Anyway i was wondering if you are meant to wash the applicator sponge after you have used it? - i have to admit i havn't and have used a couple of times now - kept it in a clean + sealed bag inbetween times along with the microfibre. Many Thanks Jak
  11. Pontiac Fiero? ** oops didnt read last comment!**
  12. That or it'd be exactly the opposite if i was female - with the blokes omitting the charges and the ladys enforcing them! Just turn on the charm i reckon! Jak
  13. I've also noticed when speaking to admiral that the blokes are generally hard work and a bit of a PITA over the phone but the ladys are much more friendly and likely to "omit" charges! Jak
  14. I'm with Admiral and had the same charge, its anoying but as said before it could be worse! The most annoying one i've ever had though was with Bell who raised my premium by £70.00 when i told them i had put new alloys on my swift gti and then told me that they still wern't covered but the premium was raised because it made the car more attractive to theives. - Takes one to know one i suppose. Jak
  15. good shout, will do Jak
  16. I don't think there has been a break in attempt as there are no other marks, it has snapped where the screw is neer the door handle (only on the other side of the door obviously!)
  17. As in title, the piece of black plastic trim that runs along the bottom of the window (drivers side) has somehow broken So i now require a new one. Does anybody have one? I havn't managed to call Nissan so dont know what their price is yet.... Many Thanks Jak
  18. not this one, i have to drill holes into the front of the bumper to fit it am actually wondering if i took off the bits that go through the bumper whether some double sided sticky would hold that part and use the normal means of attaching it everywhere else?! Jak
  19. or change her lol - only kidding! Yeah i know, i will just see what it looks like with the kit and then think about stickers, they can always be taken off i suppose! Jak
  20. Thanks Chris, I'm pretty pleased with it myself! Apparantly you had to import them and there RRP was $400? Jak
  21. i really like the vinyls, though i'm not sure the girlfriend will, she'd probably say something along the lies of "it just looks like your trying too hard" or " it's a bit showey offey" She dosnt really get the whole car thing - more interested in books and dresses! Jak
  22. i had considered that - but think i will stick to the GM for the spoiler and the K11 for the rest, i really like the look of this car you see, may evenb get the stickers after the kit has been fitted, which i know may be a little contraversial on here! http://www.desktopmachine.com/framepic. ... &size=1024 http://www.desktopmachine.com/framepic. ... &size=1024 its a shame i can't rest the splitter to look how it will when it's fitted cos at the mo it obviously sits too far out and at a slightly odd angle - still gives an idea though i guess! Jak
  23. PM'd Jak
  24. Thanks guys - Nismo skirts and spats are definatly future go-ers plus spoiler in GM, however at the moment im trying to save to go to japan - just the price on this was to good to pass up considering its genuine Nismo too i have a feeling the rest of the kit may end up being copies though unless similar bargains arise! Its a shame the pics arnt that good (iPhone) as it dosnt really show the colour that well. Jak
