  1. Just come back from the petrol station, before I filled up the fuel gauge was just below the 1/4 tank line, filled up £ 40 of Octane 99 and the indicator went up between the half and 2/3 of a tank line, after 5 min drive I got home and the indicator went up a bit more towards the 2/3 of a tank line.

Is this normall? but more importantly, is that all I get with £ 40?

I tought that because I stiil had 1/3 of a tank £40 would have filled up the tank

  2. I know................ I haven't got a Z yet ( 1 week left ) and I already looking to spend some $ no it.

Anyway it's a special car and been my special car I want to make it special.

I had a look at the Z-store web site and nealry spent all of my wage, so decided to take it easy and get some advice from you guys first.

I'll be the proud owner of a '03 JDM Silver Blade and was thinking to get the interior in carbon fibre look like. I don't want a cheap look but I don't think I'll able to afford a full real carbon interior.

What I'll be looking for is, a strut bar, centre console ( doing all of the front would look to much? ) the door bits and maybe some Recaro / Momo seat ( in dark grey ) plus a gear nob ( titanium? ).

What are your toughts? and anyone with something similar has some pics of it?

Also because I want to get a professional to do the work would you know prices and were I could get it done in the south east or Bristol / B'ham area?

  3. It might be a silly question but I'll fire it anyway........

I did read a post asking which kind of petrol is best for the Z and for I've seen most people choosing Esso V-Power, and just to be in the safe side I'll do the same once I'll have my Z ( shortly ) but... What is the difference? I normally go to Tesco because it's near and the cheapest around here. I know that higher octane make the car go "faster" ( is it? ) but didn't know there was a difference in brands too

  4. That's not good.

Quick advice that might be helpfull even if can sound strange, as above keep the Z for now but don't drive it ( I was going to put a deposit on that one but you arrived first you'll hardly find a better bargain than that!).

The easiest job that you can get is like a waiter for an high street chain, I'm a restaurant manager and my guys earns as much as me on their payslip plus cash tips! It might doesn't do for you but it pays for the bills while you looking around.

As for everything there are some company to stay clear from but if you want but pm me and tell you more.
