Streuth, can't believe how well the chassis stood up! Seeing it up close I was worried what it would look like under the 'crinkly' bits. Just goes to show how solid these cars are. I will be following the thread with great interest!

Depends how tomorrow night goes
One word of warning, if you turn up much after 9 you will probably be parked way around the back, possibly on the verges! It's got a bit busier since we first went!

Hi Andy, it was good to see you at Gurston yesterday, just gutting about the car. As Chris said, take a few days and have a chat with him. One way or another it can be resurrected.
Still can't believe it flipped! Roof looked immaculate.
Ps. Dibs on the spoiler - sorry had to be done
You might change your mind when you see the state of the spoiler, looks okay in the pics, but close up it's been...rearranged.
Wow that must have hurt, serious off right there. I've driven directly into a tyre wall (at a mere 30mph) and it wasn't fun, took a lot of time and money to fix the car after that. One thing it did make me realise is that having a steel chassis and panel car with a dozen airbags comes in handy some times. You'd be dead in an Elise. Give me five star EuroNCAP any day!
Not really, the construction of the Elise is massively strong. My dad had an off in his 4 1/2 years at Gurston (although a slightly earlier place on the hill, just before Hollow) and went off around 80mph sideways into the chalk bank. Like Andy, they checked him out and kept an eye on him, but otherwise okay.

I thought my eyes were deceiving me when I saw the name Pimm in the spotted thread!
Welcome to the fold, now just tell your OLD man to sort himself out and get a proper car again

TWO months and you still have the same wheels?! Are you feeling okay?
Looking good

I do forget how much I like the GT4 wheels. Looks tidy and sounds like you have some good plans.
Speaking of sound...buying Berks de-cats it will be anything but quiet, but you won't give a sh-one-t the first time you WOT it

Fook it bought them now let's wait see what I get stung for duties and vat.

I've lost count of how many times I've bought things after going 'F██k it!' It's an expensive decision making process, but I rarely regret it somehow!
