Jesus Christ! Excuse the blasphemy but that is shocking! Surly this is dangerous driving and should warrant a prison sentence??? I know someone who was driving a car whilst the passenger beat a sheep with a bat....the guy driving went to prison for 6 months! Would someone like to tell me why this mondeo driver (who was clearly breaking the speed limit) shouldn't go to prison? The justice system is shocking! Sorry to hear about your wife dude, hope she gets well soon!

I agree that its twisted because one of the 2 hostages that has been released from Iraq (dead) was a friend of mine. The coverage of this has been shocking. The armed forces die almost every day in the middle east and again, the coverage is shocking! But the harsh reality of the whole situation is that soldiers are not roll models, no one wants to join the army if they see that soldiers get killed every day! But everyone wants to be a pop star or a movie star, everyone loves to sing and act like idiots and that's the reality of this. MJ dying will be on the news for the next several weeks and all because it takes the spot light off the things that really matter.....real life!

Right Tim, I did call back and i just happened to speak to the same guy as earlier (i asked his name this time), Gordon. He has informed me that you cant quote me because i have no quote for you to mirror.....? I have had a quote from Bell for £748 with 1 yrs NC. he's still saying that because im still using my policy, im not able to "bring over" my NC and the only way for you to beat that quote is for me to cancel my policy, phone Bell, get that quote, phone you and tell you that Bell has quoted me £748 and THEN you can beat it. This all sounds a little strange to me. Is this correct Tim? Should getting insurance be this difficult? :S

I got a text at 0735 with a MJ joke! I think its pretty distasteful to be honest. The guy had issues but he was very talented and thats what he should be remembered for. Dont forget the upbringing he had either! it was enough to send any one of us round the bend! The only thing that was wrong with him was that he had a child's mind! Ive been driving since 2003 as a named driver and got my own policy 2 years ago. the insurance company im with now have taken on board my named driver no claims but i still have a high premium! What would you recommend Tim? Ps im 28.

Well that's a kick in the nuts! Gonna have to wait til November to cancel that policy then! My insurance company really do have me by the nuts then! Oh well, guess i have to pay £1300 until November!

I just phoned CK for a quote and i was told that they cant give me a quote because my policy is still being used on my old car (I kept it when i bought my 350) and the NC are "being used" and cant be transferred?! Surly that's not right!? I haven't made a single claim in all the time i have been driving and surly that's all that matters?
