Thanks to everyone who has posted. I now have one sorted via a couple of the members. I have learnt not to ask for anything in the future as kindness isnt they way from some members.
If the transaction does goes ahead with the aerial swap I will be paying £10 for the part and i'll donate £5 to the club. Like I said at the start, money wasnt really the issue

Nah mate, I dont guess...you should know that after the step by step info I gave you on the anti drop links...I do everything 100%...
What another guess lol

Nope, it solved the problem I had and a few other members after a short thread...
Unless you like me, then I'm game for anything you have dude.
Sorry to mess your thread up mate...no more rubbish.

Ah very good mate, least he didnt mind you helping and watching...some people hate that lol.

Very clean images from a Iphone, top job.

I might be wrong but I dont think you need to removed the B pillar trim to remove the side ones. I'm sure they left mine on.

I've also had a new screen fitted in mine. When I collected it there was a chip to close to the A pillar to repair....IIRC the side trim's along side the roof and screen are also screwed in so you should be fine with a couple of clip broken. Looks like a good clean job though and thats the main.

The creaking is very common. when I bought mine it was also making the noise. I just lubed mine with chain lube for my mountain bike and it hasnt made a noise since. If they replace them in time they will do the same...it's not the fact the damaged just dry. Lube is fine in my opinion.

I'm sure if you pop them to your local MOT station they will adjust them to the correct legal setting for free,
Good luck

Seriousley, you can get a stubby on ebay for £8 ffs. If you cant afford something like that then how the hell are you gonna afford it if something a bit more serious happens?
Thanks for the info mate, I have seen the shorter aerials and I have been offered a Civic Type R one for free but there not my cup of tea.
I've been informed that some of the shorter aerails dont dont receive very good reception aswell.
I have money in the bank, insurance for the car and I've worked in a accident repair centre for the last 13 years. I also get 25% discount from Nissan on all my parts through my work... I honestly didnt expect all this talk about not be able to afford the car, insurance etc...I just thought it would have been "no worries mate"...

Haha, and I thought I was one of the most immature/youngest Z owners.....
Sound like a bargain, where you live Surry America?

Thank you all for your help lol...
I thought forum's were the place people helped other car own's. I just thought if someone had an aerial in there garage/shed they wasn't using because they had changed there O.E aerial they might want to passed it on to some who needed one. If I had something of use to another member not worth £50+ I would'nt mind sending it on if they covered the post
I used the Celica forum before I bought the 350Z and gave away a rear calpier that cost me over £60, all I needed were the seals but another member's had seazed. Why not help people if people are willing to help you when your in need.
I like the fact you need to hold onto everything if theres no cash involved and you called me tight and can't afford the Z lol
...I admit the fuel is a little expensive but I've only owned the car a few months.
Buying the car and insurace wasn't to bad to be honest, you get a lot of car for your money imo. Money wasn't really the issue if i'm honest, I just expected more people to say no worries mate I have one pay me (X) for p+p.
If nothing else I've learnt not to ask for anything to much, please let me know when you plan to charge for advise if you have anything usefull to say
So no one has an aerial for me lol.
Kind Regards

not sure why it should have a nokia handsfree when the car has built in bluetooth?
Bluetooth is not built in ...... nokia kit is probably like this one (fits in the cubby between the seats)
You will need a bluetooth adapter ( about £65 from PIMM ) for you bluetooth phone then the in built phone system will work with voice command and steering wheel buttons
Car looks fine but there are lots more around at the moment and you would be better buying a car the guys on here know TBH
Oh and Wel
come Nik
Sorry dude, I thought all the UK GT cars had the bluetooth built in as standard spec. I do agree not many have the bluetooth moduals still in the car when you come to buy a second hand vehicle because you can sell the on ebay etc.
Every UK GT I've ever seen has got the bluetooth carrier...

my mentality comes from my old boxing coach.....if it dont work = punch it
Little strange you refer to your boxing coach when your using your knees to hit things lol
. Think they call it MMA nowadays....Thats maybe why you didnt win may round because you didnt understand the boxing rules...Hands only, with the off headbutt
We need to have a word with Hamster and meet for pie and beer dude...

Looks a very good car from the images for the price...not sure why it should have a nokia handsfree when the car has built in bluetooth?
Shame it hasnt got the Ray's, but there not everyones cup of tea to be honest.
Just have a quick search for common problems if you havent already and check it when you go and view it..
Good luck..

Tool Storage
in 350Z General
Posted
Ok, not sure if this has been done before...I was thinking it would be nice to have a few more tools than the Nissan ones with the car. I like to have a play when things go worng and my friends sort of come to me aswell lol...I normally take my tool box in the back on a day to day basis. I thought with a couple of tools in the boot all the time I could get rid off the tool box. Most people have a ratchet set and screw drivers at there home, I picked a couple of the more common ones to carry.
I used some old sponge from my shed...there must be a better material out there but this is a stepping stone to perfection lol
What you guy's think...when you have it covered theres no rattles, plus you have kneeling pad lol..
