  1. Hi,

Just thought I'd introduce myself again, i had said hello about a week ago when i was going to collect a Z at the weekend to find it had been crashed..... gay.

but i can quite happily say that i've just put a deposit down on a different one an i get to pick it up on saturday :drive:

So wish me look and bring on the MEETS!!

  2. can buy the BT adaptor on ebay, about £90 when i was looking. I have an 03 UK 350z GT, it has rays, upgraded bose with steering wheel controls, phone module and the all important sun glasses holder. It has cruise control, leather heated seats, retractable wing mirrors, head light washers, and a big fat v6 that makes such a nice noise! I think you can have parking sensors, but mine hasn't got them. No sat nav either, not sure if option on 03 plates as i didn't see any with sat nav when i was looking for my car, jdm only, could be wrong, but seemed that way.

cool cool. i think the sun glasses holder just sealed the deal haha

  3. so did the car come standard with a phone kit? that you just have to get a bluetooth module to adapt it?

Yes all uk cars come with the phone kit.

Between 03-06 you used to have to buy a cradle that you stuck your phone into. But most of the compatible phones were ancient bricks.

The BT adapter came out with the MY06 zed around Sept 2006

    ah, cool.

so am i right in thinking a BT module would fit the 2003?

  4. Hi,

anyone know the basic standard equiptment on the 2003 gt?

eg, rays wheels? xenons? phone (does this also include bluetooth?)? bose? headlamp washers? and anything else thats worth mentioning?

Im sure theres probably a post on here already. I just couldnt understand if the one in the JDM section listed STANDARD parts or OPTIONAL?

    thanks for the help

  5. if he had pictures to prove it was just a slight crack in the bumper or sumthing, fair enough. But it was the fact he had no idea why it had been resprayed. he knew it had been though and didnt tell me, we noticed it and confronted him.

I thought the guy was a really nice guy, i had been contacting him all week about the car and he was such a help. How gullible am I though. At the end of the day he was just your average backstreet garage dealer that just wants to sell his cars.

Yup, plenty more out there. Strugglin to find a decent one around the 10K mark though

  6. Hi,

Drove 6 hours through the night from scotland to chorleywood just outside london yesterday to pick up a Z. Had been in contact with the guy for about a week, and was told the car was immaculate. Went through all the hassel of getting the money together quickly also.

Now, i've never seen a z up close. or sat in one or anything. so when he opened up the garage and saw it sat there.....wow. I knew thats the car i wanted. they look so much more mean and low in person. Most gorgeous thing i've ever seen!

I took my mate along who used to work in a car body shop. Thankfully! because while i was sat in the beast imagining myself blasting along in it blinded by its beauty.... He noticed it had been rear ended at sum point in its life. both rear quaters had been sprayed as aswell as the rear bumper and boot lid. he could tell by the paint lines and a few runs. also abit of over spray on the window.

Was not very pleased as the guy had told me it was an immaculate car. and let me drive a 740mile round trip for nothing hoping i wouldnt notice. And i wouldnt have if it wasnt for my pal.

so im posting this up here just so nobody else wastes there time or money on it. http://www.jasonbarker.co.uk/shop_detail.asp?offset=5&product_id=278

i shall now have to carry on looking, GUTTED

yeah, i wouldnt be suprised if it hasnt been replaced to be honest. Il think about changing it to the birdbrain software. i no its much easier to fit a tom tom or something in the cubby but, theres something appealing about a sat nav in the dash that just fits and looks like an optional extra.

to quote myself, i meant to say, i would be suprised if it had been replaced...

    sooo, whens the next meet?

  9. welcome to the club

As it was only imported last year, I'd check the satnav has been replaced with a UK version as the Japanese one doesn't work in UK.

    cheers :)

will have to wait and see. just done a HPI check and that all seems fine.

is there anyway i can make sure the milage hasnt been altered?

  10. its not a cab. and i do qiute fancy the auto. i fancy some easy laid back driving with abit o fun when i want it =)

to be honest. looking at the prices of zeds and how rare they seem to be. If i did want to change to a manual, i doubt id lose much money on this one. just gagging to get behind the wheel of one.

and come to the meets

i have nooo idea which model it is. i know it just luks nice and its a smidgin under 10k. The guys offered me more than my fezzas worth for part ex. so aslong as its all in good nick, il probs take it there and then.

  13. I want to know how you made it look like you'd just done a massive workout? Kiss the guns or something?

To quote the great Ron Burgundy: "Ohh, it's the deep burn. Oh, it's so deep. Oh, I can barely lift my right arm 'cause I did so many. I don't know if you heard me counting. I did over a thousand"

The uvula connected to the upper dorsimus, its boring but its my life!

I'm just gonna grab this shirt, if you don't mind. Just watch out for the guns. They'll get you

If the Zed doesn't work theres only one solution:
