  1. Looks a bit high for a tow bar unless its on a large vehicle like a land rover although it does look an awful lot like the back of a lorry for instance a tail lift on a luton box van.

that would explain the dent on the door then catching the rear of the wing pulling it out.

Do your builders have any vehicles like that???

    Feel for you mate

  2. Hey folks my car was parked up for a month or so when the snow was here the other month.

After i finally got her back out there is quite a strong bit of feed back through the pedal as if the brakes are warped.

Is this possible or does anyone know what has happened???

i thought they just need run in as such, but no joy, still throbbing.

    cheers

    Gilly

  4. one of the lads on the MR2 forum got ones ages ago for going round a round about with tyres "screeching" apparently.

takes the pi$$ really you can accuse someone of something and with very little proof get done for it.

no longer innocent until proven guilty.

    Im really realy worried now.

My polo is running comedy tyres on the front. the screech everywhere  funny as hell though

  5. Right after a long wait and a missed ebay auction i need to find one quick style for MOT time.

Dont need to be supper shiney as long as its straight. will even accept kerb marks. (poverty mode prevents me from getting a whole new set of aftermarkets lol)

  7. Out on valentines night with my ex a few year ago i took what i thought was a back road to somewhere (i had an investigative side back then) before anyone says anything thats my story and im sticking to it. :p

To my horror the little clio was in an open field full of cows  so i came of the track to turn round and head out. Yup we got stuck and she ended up having to help push to get the car out the hole i dug

Lol, that sounds reminiscent of that pic that floats around the net of that girl's 350 stuck in deep mud in her heels. Bet you were popular.

Em yea something alot like that

Nope she wasn't best pleased, but she had no choice. :teeth:

  9. BP dont have any refineries in the uk anyway so just buy it in using their bulk discount.

On a similar matter the UK do not have a strategic refinery policy, we fit into the EU strategic refinery policy. The latest review suggests that there are 7 too many refineries in the EU zone. Anyone car to guess which ones will close.

It may interst you to google and see who owns the refineries in the UK at the moment, they are not having a good time with most product being imported from the continent where it is cheaper.

When the UK stops producing petrol completely see how we get on. :surrender:

I though bp have the grangemouth refinery over the hill from me.

  10. Im always at livi police station delivering cars to them and got a good look at the unmarked cars sitting in their compound :teeth:

They now have big audi saloons too.

Plus i love the fact they have those digi radios now too, if they are behind you in the dark and you see two squares light up about chest height. jackpot, i see yooouuuu :#1:

  11. Hi there, Interesting listing. Apologies but I just can't easily pick out the info I need. How many miles has it done? What are the tyres like? Any oil leaks? Kind regards John

A: Hi John. Very sensible questions sir, I'm glad someone is taking this seriously. I think it has done around 63000 miles. The tyres are black, round, there are 4 of them, and you even get another one in the boot. They are in very good condition- Derek the MOT man didn't grumble once. And it hasn't piddled any oil on my drive at all in 7 months. Hope this helps.

thats class, i really gotta remember this for work.

  12. Unless you pay for the added extras (like space and so on) then you'll have little choice but to wait for the Hotmail team to respond via a forum post. Most people use the free options, hence little support.

Have you tried emailing yourself to see if it comes through? If it does then it's not Hotmail it could be eBays end or wherever you are expecting emails from.

Also, do the obvious and check your Junk email folder incase settings have changed and they are ending up in there instead of your inbox.

It is quite common for email issues to occur on any mailing system. Basically, once they find the issue on one of their servers they will fix it and you'll probably get a flood of backlogged emails coming through one day...

hey thanks for the inspiration. i delved further and found thats the settings has been changed for the junk folder.

    changed to.

#move all non trusted, contacts E-mails to junk folder untill verified.

#automaticly delete all items in junk folder.

So, thats means allmy mail from the past xxxx has been deleted the second it got to my inbox.

I believe my virus problem has not been solved as i had first thought. :headhurt:

Yea i had an e-mail sent to me as a test and as expected not even a peep.

I know what you mean free E-mail, crap support. But free or not i would have expected a provider with the sheer size and popularity of hotmail to have better support than that.
