Well that's a relief... I was sure I picked the right battery after reading some good reviews...

I spoke to the retailer ealier and it's been dispatched so should be with me tomorrow ...

Until then I'm having to drive around with jump leads in the boot just in case ... It's not a nice way to live!

You sure it's battery? It's not alternator failing to charge it?

 

Someone pointed out to me that if you have a short commute it may not get back to full charge before you get home, thus over and over may lead to no juice.

I did consider the alternator could be the issue, but I'm almost positive that it's the battery...

My daily commute is about 40 mins so that should be adequate time to give it a good charge..

Well my battery has definitely had it ...

I went to start it this morning and it was dead again ... and this time it was around 24 hours since I last drove it...

The battery gauge was barely above 8V when I first tried to start it... so I had to get another jump start!

I've orderd the Bosch S4024 as others reccommend it on previous threads, hopefully it should arrive the day after tomorrow!

just out of curiosity, what mg and kit are you using? what eliquids have you used before and how do these compare? Just curious as i know alot of new sites, the eliquid isnt as good as the more experienced sites. Curious about this one as it seems a great price, just hope the liquid is upto my usual

I'm currently using 8mg and 12mg e-liquids .. I did go down to 0mg for about 2 weeks but it just wasn't satisfying enough..

In terms of kit, I've only just recently upgraded from the CE5 Ego style ecigs to a Sigelei Zmax v5 .. which is a variable voltage/wattage unit.. and i'm using the KangerTech ProTank Mini II Clearomiser with it.

The liquids aren't the best tasting to be honest .. but I've found mixing a them can have good results.. I've been mixing equal quantities of the Cheesecake 12mg with Strawberry 0mg and it tastes pretty good.. I wouldn't reccommend the Vanila, Bubblegum or Cotton Candy flavours as they weren't too nice .. I plan to mix these with some other liquids I have though so not to waste them ...

I went to stat my Zed this morning after not driving the car all weekend and the battery was completely flat.. I still had enough power for lights, radio etc but just not enough to start the car..

It happened a few months ago as well when I returned from a 2 week holiday and was unable to start the car.. Luckily today I was able to get a jump start from my dad's car but I don't want to get caught out while I'm at work etc..

I've read some of the older posts regarding replacement batteries, but was just wondering if anyone who's recently had their battery replaced had any advice on which Make/Model to get..

Also if anyone knows of any good deals currently going that would be great!

It's not been too difficult thanks to the eCigs ... I've tried giving up cold turkey but I only lasted 2 weeks before I was back to smoking daily.

I had tried eCigs a few years ago but at the time I was still smoking cigarettes regularly as well ... This time round I made the decision to switch completely and a year has just flown by..

Just stick with it ..

Have you noticed any improvement in your health at all after you switched? Obviously saving money but just wondered if you felt any healthier after the switch.

Yeah I'd say I've definitely noticed an improvement in health since I made the swtich to eCigs.

I do a lot of running (about 10 miles a week) and my times have come down a lot since i stopped smoking cigarettes...

I've had the occassional cigarette on a night out, but to be honest I don't enjoy them anymore...

I'm absolutely loving the Zmax ... It's quite heavy though as it's made from stainless steel but definitely worth it!

I switched to ecigs a year ago and haven't looked back since ..

I started with the Ego CE5 stlye ecigs but have recently upgraded to the Sigelei Zmax V5 which is variable voltage/wattage device.

I'm using the Kanger Pro Tank Mini II with it and it's a much nicer vape compared to the CE5 cartomiser.

I like it...

I'm working today and tomorrow ... hopefully I won't be here past midday tomorrow though...

I have some play in my Steering Rack and have so been advised to replace it.

Does anyone have one lying around?

How have you managed to run the video over cat-6. using the adapters on either end?

I'm using a WDTV Live in the rooms to access the Multimedia on the NAS drive ...

I've run Cat6 cables to every room in my house when I was decorating last year ... and have been using it to stream HD video...

All the cables are wired up to a Gigabit switch in the loft, which in turn is wired to my router and a NAS drive.

I used to have some juddering when turning left on my Zed, turned out my tyres were very worn on the inner side.

I replaced the tyres and it's been fine since then ...
