The zed didn't give the impression of being quite so low until I got out the car that time... Didn't hit though... Give it time!

Spotted another silver zed this evening heading up Horsley Brae towards Overton this evening. Didn't see the reggy, but a guy with short dark hair was driving.

Funny how you spot more zeds as soon as you own one!

My understanding is that the long tube manifolds delete the OEM position cats, and connect directly to the Y-pipe and could therefore use the XYZ pipe with the HFC swappable section. Have I picked that up wrong?

While on there I spotted the Supersprint long tube exhaust manifolds and wondered if anyone on here has any experience of them?

I was inspired by SG Motorsport in Canada developing their own and getting really good gains.

Well, my licence arrived on Thursday , but the finance won't get processed until Monday...

Guess who's having a glum weekend... Think I might just go and sit outside the showroom all weekend looking at it... Might listen to Dido...

I'm going to wait until I've take delivery of it first though... Don't want to jinx anything!

Can't tell you anything about the dimensions yet, as I don't have a Z yet...

However, I do have experience with building good SQ audio systems that are still powerful enough to make your face itch...

Your answer will be supplied in the tech specs of whatever sub you go for. They always (in my experience) specify a required volume for best performance at a particular frequency...

Yeah I knew Marc as well... A few years back though when their unit was in Wishaw...

I used them a few years ago as did some friends. Mixed reports...

Last time I went past (last week) it's different people in the building so I don't know if they've moved or closed or what...

The lack of even a simple "Hi Doug," or a "Regards, A N Other" makes me think twice about their standards of customer care and subsequently I wouldn't want to drop four figures in their lap for what I believe may be a lesser quality service.

Besides, I have a couple of other options where the respondants were at least willing to write a proper reply... One particularly promising indeed!

Besides, if all else fails, I'll map it myself...

Just a quick update re. tuners...

Star Performance replied with a three word response: "Sorry, cannot help."

I do have a couple of other leads though, one in particular is much more promising, so not all is lost! I'll let folks know once things are confirmed.

PS: I've edited the thread title to reflect the content...

Forgive my ignorance, but is that a proper split rim? If that's the only bit that's damaged, could it perhaps be replaced by someone like imagewheels.co.uk? It's hard to tell from the pic if the spokes are damaged or not...

Hopefully the wheel did the honourable thing and sacrificed itself to protect your suspension etc...

I'm reasonably convinced that you can get away with a significantly lower than standard CCA as long as you're not trying to start the engine at -20degC with all ancilliaries running at the same time...

Will you post up to let us know how you get on with it? Over winter too?

I'm pretty sure the CCA (Cold Cranking Amps) rating is 490 for the OEM battery and wierdly, a genuine Nissan replacement has a CCA rating of 550...?!

I think it was somewhere on my350z.com. If you find the source before I do, post it up!
