  1. Having bought my Zed in 2008 I joined in 2009 to get advice and with a thought of getting to meets etc. picked up loads of advice along the way, though for some reason never got round to introducing myself and never got to any meets, until this year when zeditis finally took hold and decided to stop lurking (when it was suggested to me about selling my car as it's hardly used )and get to every meet possible. Wales , LakeZ , ZedFest to name a few. Only wish I'd done it sooner ! Six years on I'm still loving the zed and this newly found forum !

  2. I know its not life or death (unless I choose Linglongs) but they will be on there for a good few years so want to make sure I don't end up with a car that looses it in the wet.

I have priced up some of the common ones (best price):

    Kumho KU39: £330 + Fitting = £390

    Eagle F1: £480 + Fitting = £540

    Falken 453: £406 + Fitting = £466

    Hankook S1: £419 + Fitting = £479

So it is quite a saving going for the Kumho's but is the saving worth the decrease in grip, that's what I can't work out :surrender:

Quite a saving there, though like you say if there gonna be on for a good few years is it not worth paying that little bit extra. May work out cheaper in the end ?

  3. Yes You'll need a syringe to refill the gearbox oil, before draining though make sure you can remove the refill plug before removing the drain plug. Got my syringe from machine mart.

10 litres of coolant is what you'll need for a complete swap. The genuine nissan stuff is premixed so no need to dilute.

  4. I'd highly recommend the Invidia Gemini system Hougenie. It's what I bought for mine and is fantastic with no drone whatsoever.

The Cougar Store or Tarmac Sportz are both very good traders that can sort you out a good deal on your new exhaust system I'm sure.

+ 1 having had my invidia supplied by Tarmac and fitted by the cougar store I can highly recommend it and them too. As for budget yes the invidia is more than the cobra but it is the full cat back system so no need for a y pipe. so if you did need to change the y pipe at some point the full cobra system doesn't work out much cheaper.

  5. I'd steer clear of the japspeed k2 as there is fitment issues with them. I found out the hard way ! I've now got the invidia Gemini exhaust with berk Hfc's and love it not too loud unless you want it too be and with no rasp at all or drone at cruising speeds . Can't comment on the cobra , but like you say buy the time you've bought the y pipe (cobra) at about £700 complete for another £150 you can get the invidia. When I bought my berks on the last group buy from Tarmac i also bought the the exhaust at the same time and Chris did me a good deal on that too. There's a group buy on the berks at the moment so it's well worth a PM to Tarmac.

  6. Very nice car, rare kit and colour combined. That reminds me though I must remove my awful cheap standard 350z nismo stickers off my GT with nismo body kit and get some juke ones. Haha

  7. Welcome to the forum Joel. You'll need a stubby aerial next (if it doesn't already have one) :)

I have one, but it's not exactly amazing, don't suppose you can recommend a decent one?

Welcome to the forum. An RDX stubby is the way to go. PM Tarmac sports or Redline styling.
