Hmm possibly-good point. I'll call them tomorrow...

Ian
I'm looking for a fixed hub adapter for a Momo or Sparco wheel. I've found this:
http://www.jdmperformance.co.uk/item_de ... odID=52893
and this:
http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/Motorspor ... 1343/35643
You mention the Works one comes with a resistor which is handy, but it's almost twice the price! If I go for the Momo from Demontweeks is aquiring and fitting a resistor straight forward?
Cheers

Much clearer-thanks. Makes sense that alcantara would be harder wearing than suede if it's man made. Still not sure what to do about the wheel though. I guess a leather wheel will match the seats etc but won't feel as nice.

Not sure what the difference is, if there is any?

Discontinued a long time ago
Everything is for sale at the right price
Let's just say that if you ever fancy a change, let me know!

I knew you'd do that Ian! Love that wheel. I've checked all over the net and it seems to be discontinued. You need to sell me yours...
Must try driving with bear hands...

I want to replace my steering wheel but can't decide what finish to go for. I love the suede motorsport look and feel but I'm worried it won't wear well. Has anyone used one for a while?
I'm also not sure whether to go for a slight dish or a flat wheel.
I LOVE the Works Bell Team Orange wheel but I think it's no longer available
Looking at these:

Not so sure on the diamonds but I like the vertical bars as used in the new Alfa Gulietta

exactly the same happened to my brother's table, which was the same shape. No one was touching it and it exploded everywhere. Not good!

Search 'Brodit' on Amazon

Keen to know this too...

I have that setup and it's subtle but definitely noticeable, especially when the exhaust is hot. More of a growl at low revs with extra bass, and even more of a difference at high revs. Nothing crazy but definitely an improvement. I now want a Y pipe though for a bit more volume!
-
Dragging up a fairly old thread here but Husky did you get anything sorted in the end?
I'm fed up of my soft-wearing 'chocolate' interior that marks when you so much as brush it. I was hoovering the other day and caught the gear stick panel with the end of the nozzle and it left a mark. Rubbish!
I would love to get the centre console trimmed in dark grey alcantara. Bet it wouldn't be cheap though...

Currently running a Scorpion exhaust with standard Y pipe, cats etc. I can't afford to spend loads on a Y pipe and wondered if anyone has a Scorpion with the Japspeed Y pipe? I'd be interested to know if the noise is much different and if flow if increased.

Sold a pair of wheel spacers to 'TT Convert' weeks ago and after the Paypal payment was reversed, he said he would send a cheque on 21 June. I've heard nothing since. Anyone know him? Is there any way to claim the money through Paypal? Not happy.
His last PM:
Ive got them matey yes, but dont worry im no scam man, send address and ill send a cheque, paypal is going haywire

I've got a brodit but did not go for the 350z bracket as its far from cheap. The passthrough cradle I wanted was £35 alone. Could not face another £15 on the bracket.
Remember that if you get any sort of case then it won't bit the normal iPhone cradles. Its bloody annoying that just after getting a decent setup in the car I have to take the case off to put it in the cradle....meaning most of the time I don't bother defeating the point of having it.
you bought the wrong cradle then! the link above is the one i have. It's adjustable and fits with any case...

You select the actual holder and then need the base as well. When you change your car you just need a new base. Can't find a link to the base at the moment...

I'm still waiting for some options too. Desperate for a Y pipe!
-
There is a bracket that slides under the centre console panel by the heat direction control knob. It's very neat-I will get a photo if I get the chance. Sits perfectly and can be adjusted too.

A how-to with pics would be great!

Really like that. Was it a pain to bend and fit?
