That bonnet wont fit over the 313 engine.
Sorry buddy but will be a 276 or 300

When out of gear I do get some noise from the gearbox and when serviced last by japex they stated that the bearing was noisy.
I also every now and then struggle to get the car into 6th gear when at higher speeds, Motorway slip roads etc and it sounds like its crunching into pos which sounds terrible.
Looking at taking it into Nissan in Watford in the next few days, its an 08 and still under warranty, anyone else had this issue?
-
I also have a question if I may,
Does the clicky rear axle affect later models, have a my08 313, no issues yet with it but thinking ahead just in case

Hi Mate,
Could it be a fuse issue? on the subject to the OEM Microphone for bluetooth can anyone tell me where abouts it is? I don't know where to direct my voice when im talking to people in the car as they always say it sounds like im miles away...
Its right behind the sunglasses holder on the roof

I also have a 313 but get alot better mpg than that, I avg about 24-28 but when on the motorway In cruise control, 6th gear doing about 80-85 i normally avg 32-34 mpg,
With a heavy right foot it tends to drop to about 14 mpg, but I only tend to do that on the twisties as it's so much fun, I also use shell ultimax, I think it does make a little difference

I might be wrong here but aren't there 2 under engine trays, a small one at the front of the car and a larger one closer to the middle

£105 for a P1 if supplying own oil.
thats sounds reasonable , gyln hopkins st albans not so.
i mena for chris sake its an oil change !
Don't ever go to glyn Hopkins, they can't tell the diff between a 350 and a mirca and are well over priced,
next time use Japex in Kings Langley, provided my own oil and the P1 service was £85 and ex nissan guys and know the zed very well

L3ON **

+1
Used them for my P1 service and new brake pads all road, top quality guy's

Sod the main dealers and glyn hopkins in watford are poor.
As mentioned above, Japex are a great bunch of guys in kings langley and you get 10% discount on parts and labour with them as a forum member.

I know how you feel,
I let the guys from Japex drive mine away last week for a service, i felt sick to my stomach.
Watching it pull into the driveway felt like christmas had come early,
The last time the wife drove it she was so scared (she drives a 1.4 206) i needed a taxi to get to the kerb

Very nice indeed, where did you source those from?

Good offer - 10 litres ordered

I have a question,
I'm led to believe the front reflectors are different sizes from the MY06 to the MY08, is this true and which MY are you doing these for, I have a MY08 and am interested
-
Don't all 08's have satnav?
nope, i have an 08 without

There is one place in Watford, Hertfordshire that does it for £50 per wheel and you can pick from a large selection of colours.
-
Good luck and hope you get it soon, not too far from you, will give a little wave if I ever pass you
-
I had the same problem last night in -3C , I could open the pass door so I climbed over to the drivers door, and unlocked it from the inside using the little grey switch on the handle itself, After that it was fine,
Dont even bother trying to lower your windows when iced up, will only damage the window mech

Where abouts are u based?

Loads of snow in Watford, Driving home last night was a mare, that zed really doesn't like going uphill in the snow. left it in a lay by for fear of binning it as it almost gave way twice,
lucky im not too far from home so walked the rest, will pick it up later today, i think I'll have to suffer the underground for work

I would be interested in a carbon flip uk spec if possible

Welcome to the forums buddy
newbie, and hopefully a new owner soon

Hi and welcome to the forums, I'm sure you would love the zed and the rear wheel drive aspect of it, having once owned an astra gsi this is by far a much better drivers car, (just be careful in the wet)
You should be able to get 2 golf bags in the back and believe or not there is even a picture in the boot showing you how, I've never done it though
As for MPG, I also use nothing but V power and normally run an average of 27 mpg doing a mix or motorway and town driving, it only ever drops as low as 18 or so when I really thrash the hell out of it which is rare, but as others say, this isn't a bluemotion and likes a good drink
as for road tax, pre April 06 is about the £230 mark I think, post April 06 which I have cost me £405 last year which is a kick in the teeth
As for servicing, depending on if you buy a car still in warranty or not but there are a lot of independents that offer services much cheap than the main stealers, all depends on where you live but a P3 service ( the big one ) can be around £250 - £300 mark, using the search button above will also give you loads of advise, there is so much here
Good luck, get a Zed, you won't regret it
(excuse the spelling, typing this on an iPhone and can't be bothered to change it)
