  1. aye. Fitted at JM Imports without any issues. Now got a box with a 'slight' issue and a slave cylinder to shift if anyone is interested lol
  2. replacement box in and seems all good. TY to Zmanalex
  3. anyone with the knowledge of these boxes....Is it worth spending the money getting it looked at by a gearbox specialist, with the risk of the end result being told that I need a replacement box anyway, or just take the plunge and order one?
  4. Thanks all Just trying to arrange getting into jm imports and up on the ramps so we can figure out what's wrong Is the cd009 a big difference? And what kinda price? Can't easily find any for sale
  5. Driving into work this morning and pulling off a roundabout, shifted into third and got a vibration through the whole car, clank sound and then everything seemed of. Left work and around off a roundabout into 3rd same thing happened but much worse and now no third gear. Stick goes into the gate fine but its like being in neutral. Luckily all others are working. Searching around found lots running FI breaking the braising and exactly the same kinda sound and issue. If it is this am I looking at a full new gearbox? 2003 350gt btw Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

  9. i really need to look further than the NE section now and again.....! Looks really nice mate, good choice. and it has those useful things in the back....
  10. I just wanted to post a ty to Alex for helping me out . My clutch went during doing my MOT last Wednesday and I ended up leaving it at JM-Imports. Jurgens guys did a great job and had a new clutch and slave cylinder on by Saturday but couldn't source a master cylinder, and Nissan were talking about weeks to get one in! Couple of PMs and phone calls with Alex, and by the sounds of it an entire morning of him cursing the 350GT he's breaking, and master cylinder on its way to JM Friendly and amazingly helpful...cheers mate! Jurgens also been great letting me dump the car in his shop till it was sorted, and wouldn't recommend anyone else for anyone looking for an import, or if your in the NE work doing on a car.
  11. I have them in stock. New and preowned for 350Z UK and JDM models and Skyline 350GT. I also have clutch slave cyls in stock. Alex. PM'd....
  12. I urgently need to get my hands on a master clutch cylinder. Now I'll be phoning Nissan first thing but in case they can't help, can anyone recommend anywhere?
  13. you can save a bit. A 32GB 3g model over here is £600, including sales tax your looking at about $730 which with the current crappy ex/rate works about around £540 You are assuming Customs don't do a search and find a shiney new iPad and charge you their slice as well. Not worth the hassle and may be problems with warranty/support if you have a US model that fries in UK. I normally do 1 or 2 trips a year over there and never been stopped yet. I do always unbox anything I buy just incase. Apples have a world wide warrenty on all their stuff, doesnt matter where something is bought you can take it to any apple dealer for repair under warranty. To be honest with the current xe/rate I wouldn't bother just to save approx £50. I'll just be checking out the PX this year as they dont charge sale tax, but doubt they will have ipads

  15. Change is from 1st April. Funny thing is I have a reply to an email I sent to DVLA in March complaining about the differences between the SVA and IVA tests and the difference that can make to the tax amount. The reply basiclly says tough @*!# and there's nothing we can do...then 3 weeks later its reduced by £200 because of this change lol
  16. don't care, nothing can bring me down from my current 'walking on air' mood!!!
  17. I know this won't apply to many here, but I'm just so happy I'm posting it everywhere 'From 1 April 2010, cars that emit more than 225g/km CO2 that were registered in the UK on or after 23rd March 2006 but first registered abroad before that date will no longer be taxed in bands L or M. As this change applies to your vehicle, your tax band has changed to band K for the forthcoming future which means that your tax has decreased significantly. Please note that the road tax cost may increase or decrease every year as a result of the Budget. Please be aware that decisions on Budget announcements are a matter for the Chancellor of the Exchequer. I hope this information is helpful' Dropped from £400 to £235
