  1. Its a good price but you can pay £40-£45 per wheel to powdercoat the wheels and get the handles painted together with ?roof ?mirrors etc as a job lot for about the same or less ;) .

The point i want to make is that PC is far more durable than painting and so its worth considering

  2. Have you thought of getting a single lenght 90deg silicone tube of same diameter to relocate the intake out infront of the rad using a longer slender cone filter just like the injen CAI?

It should be more efficient i think. Seen a few with the vortech guys. Think Nurrish has got this now as the vorteck intake looks equally squashed ;)

  3. As with most Nissan parts you can't just get the worn bit.I have just had mine changed because the ball/bush had collapsed and was rubbing on the subframe.

Then use the oportunity to go with aftermarket uprated bushes  not only it will transform the ride, they are very durable  I have these firmly on my sights together with the subframe rear bushes;)

A full set of white line bushes for both front and rear cost about $300 from Adam @ Z-1 and takes 6-10 days to come!

  4. Surely when you have such play its an issue with worn bushes rather than the arm unless it is bent :scare: I will be very concerned by thius fleeting diagnosis and get a second opinion! PM R35LEE or Zmanalex and they can help with further opinions and also getting the parts (new or used) cheaply ;)

  5. Then you need to see this ;) This would have been my prefered route to monitor everything if i went FI(sc) It keeps things tidy and way cool than multiple guages sprouting from evreywhere :surrender: Also its a scan tool, datalogger plus much more. Just download the free Revlite app(one of 4 or so webapp that support PLX kiwi) and see the amazing functionality you can get with this :surrender:

FI guys check out their main website for other cool stuff and solutions:

or their UK/europe site for quicker purchase:

  6. It would be interesting to know ;) though my attitude has always been to enjoy myself and disregard mpg :teeth: if you arte worried about mpg then you got the wrong car! same as contemplating between shell 99 and 95RON fuel :scare:

I use CC only on the average speed camera areas but i suspect it will be more efficient :p

  7. :scare::scare::scare::scare::scare::scare::scare:

Your crazy mate... you've not seen me drive have you?

Here is a teaser (on bike)

I'd rather go in my own car so if I wreck it its done to my own stuff. I'm sure someone esle will take you up on the offer tho! lol (I am checking return flights to Bham now...)

 it reminds me of this :lol: :

Seriously it would be fine it youtook up my offer as its fun to go with someone. though i am used going alone and then hook up with my german pals.

Driving on the Ring is ok if you use your head and stay within your comfort zone.

Also if you are with someone who knows their way around and with coaching it will not an issue :p

For you it is an opportunity to familiarise yourself without fear so on subsequent trips you know what its all about and how to prepare in consequence, youself, the car etc.

By the time we get there i would have formed an impresion of you abilities anyway ;)

As for wear and tear that will happen on my own anyway so extra laps will it makes little difference over a weekend

  8. Yup aero retro fit wipers are the business B) better than OEM style PIAA wipers. I have used both ;)

The Bosch ones are the best, but i now get a full set of 3(2 front and 1 rear) from Autobulb direct(ABD) for £20 and they are unbranded Bosch as they told me in confidence and i have no reason to disaggree because it looks the same, performs the same and last the same and they sell both brands so they have no reason to flaunt the slightly cheaper ABD item for the Bosch ;)

I have tried the el cheapo ebay stuff and you get what you pay for :surrender:

I even tried sparco branded ones and though they were ok performance wise they lasted only half as long and rusted in about 3 months. (i change my wipers every 4 months for optimum cleaning performance and it is recommended to do so at least twice a year)

  9. Tempted...

    Dublin-Holyhead Thu 22 Apr Stena Nordica 16:00 19:15

    €134.00

3 h 20 m to yours... few pints and sleep :drunk::dance: ... very tempted... will see what the damage from my last trip was and what damage I'll be doing in Budapest the week after the ring... whats the weather forecasts for May beginning in Deutschland? Dortmund last weekend was like full blown summer REALLY nice!

:p:p tempted :surrender: you should be chomping at the bits.

Weather will be good mate. I'm never concerned about that ;)

Ok how about this for the ultimate proposal? get a cheap return flight to Birmingham. i pick you up and we head together to Nurburg B) We then fifty the costs and also you can drive my car at the ring so far as i am passenger :D

You share will cost you about £4-600 including 25 laps for you to drive! Just think of the free tuition you will get :scare: Priceless and the fact that all the wear and tear cost are going to be borne by me (tyres, brakes and service when i return to UK)!!!

By yourself you will be looking at about £900 based on 25 laps minus eventual wear and tear cost :p

  10. :welcome: Dave to the personal anchor club B)

You will begin to appreciate why i have a sprained neck all the time ;)

See you on Saturday for the fitting. Make sure you get beer and the barbie going 'cos i ain't working for free :p

  11. so were n when is the next meet?, im up for it like, B)

i might be able to get something hooked up at abingdon air field cos i know a few guys that work there, but will have to lias with the organiser Ians16 first!

Did i hear airfield ;) ...............hmmmmmmm drift day here i come :cloud9:

Quickly get in with IanS16 or Nurrish or both to get the ball rolling :teeth:

  12. Its Ferrari and its limo and it has gull-wing doors…….WOW! This is too much to digest isn't it? Take a look at the Ferrari 360 Modena stretch limousine. All set to be unveiled at the the European Limousine and Chauffeur Show in the UK this month, it is believed to be the fastest limo in the world. Dan Cawley, of Style Limousines in Manchester, commissioned Carbonyte UK to build this outlandish vehicle spending over £200,000 ($400,000) on the modifications. Foregoing the mini bars found in other limos, the Ferrari has been equipped with an extra six seats and nine foot gull-wing doors so it can carry eight passengers in total.
