Can any one help, After some advise on a rear spoiler i have seen on the net, company name slickcar.com they are selling this lip spoiler for $109.00 dollars (About 60 pounds at todays rate) spec is as follows: " Nissan 350Z Convertible 2003-2007 OEM Style Painted Rear Spoiler. This spoiler is made of high quality fiberglass, and comes with all necessary hardware kit. Spoiler Fits 2003 2004 2005 2006 2007 Nissan 350Z Convertible Part Number: LSN-12-P " i have attached a picture of the spoiler just after some feedback from members. Thanks for that Martinmac yeah it kinda make me feel better but i can not condone any form of violence especially .... boxing, biting, kicking, poking fingers in the eyes, breaking limbs, pulling finger nails out with pliers.... etc, god someone would think i was still lol

Hi All, After some advice on a recommended scratch repairer in the midlands area preferred, after some tw*t thats with a capital "A" has run along the boot with a key from one tail light to the other, i use my Zed as a every day car... work, shopping , school run and all that, but now i am seriously considering buying a cheap run around and not have too worry about leaving it in a car park. Thanks for any help in advance

Hi Greekman, Just a thought my zed is about 3 months or so older than yours and my bearing on the left hand rear side as collapsed, its currently in the garage, please have a look at a thread started by a member on here in the technical...warranty... wheel bearing for further info might help with your noise problem!

Snap, Dropping my car off in a bit to have the same problem sorted out by the local nissan dealer, took the car in today because i could hear a groaning/wirring sound coming from the rear left side of the car, dealer put the car on the ramp and the wheel was wobbling from side to side, could be a bigger problem than we think my car is a month or so older than yours, maybe nissan have been putting the squeeze on their suppliers by asking for cost downs and all that.

All good things must come to an end...... I have had my roadster now for 3 months and looks like i will have to sell it due to a change in my circumstances (i put my name down for the meet in Wales next year as well) Company i work for have just announced redundancies 140 in total, already laid off 41 workers all voluntary two weeks ago and now further cuts are required. Which means i will have to sell up and wait for better times to come back, i know what some of you might be thinking surely i can find work elsewhere (thats what i thought until my e-mail account started to dry up with job oppertunities) i work in the earth moving industry as an engineer for Caterpillar and no one is buying our equipement at present....... i know this sounds like a moan and groan but i will hate to see my zed go especially since i have just had it.... might have to sell the wife and kids should get at least a couple of months finance and petrol payments for them...pm me if any one is interested (the misses is a good runner regularly serviced and all that) Suggestions on where and price i should be asking for considering current economic climate......... i Know i can not sell here due too the lack of posts and to be honest tatally agree with that stance so i will not even insult the moderators on this excellent site(sounds like i'm grovelling ) on a serious not though i will be posting some piccies this weekend because i know this tread is worthless without pictures.

Hi All, Does any one know if what i'm being told is correct or not, attached is the word for word comment from an American performance parts centre i stumbled accross recently, they are selling key blades with the fob for around £50 and say its universal to programme for the UK market. "Yes the setup is the same for all 350Z cars even international models." Below are the instrution on how to programme the fob "KEY FOB SETUP 1. Close all doors 2. Insert key into and remove it from ignition key cylinder more then six times within 10 seconds. (Hazard warning lamps will then flash twice.) Note: Withdraw key completely from ignition key cylinder each time. If Procedure is performed too fast, system will not enter registration mode. 3. Insert key into ignition key cylinder and turn to ACC position 4. Push any button on key fob once. (Hazard warning lamps will then flash twice.) 5. Do you want to enter any additional key fob id codes? If No - Go to step 9 , if Yes - Go on to next step (6) Note: A maximum five ID codes can be entered. If more then five ID codes are entered, the oldest ID code will be erased. 6. Unlock the door, then lock again with lock/unlock switch driver side (in power window main switch). Note: Operate this procedure even if the door is in an unlock state. 7. Push any button on key fob once. (Hazard warning lamp will then flash twice.) At this time, The oldest ID code is erased and the new ID code is entered. 8. For additional key fobs do steps 6 thru 7. 9. Open driver side door. (END) After entering ID code, check operation of remote keyless entry system. Thanks in advance for advise from all.

Hi what i am about to write may not be applicable to your problem, but i have owned a toyota mr2 T-bar from new for 16 years (now a proud owner of a zed roadster as well) i had a similar problem with water seeping through the seal about 5 years ago now, i was advised to remove the door panel and adjust the window upwards, the window frame was on slots which allowed the glass to move in return created a tighter seal and i have never looked back, i dont know if this helps but maybe someone can tell you if the same principal applies.

No i did not buy it from a Nissan dealer (sorry i should have stated that before)

Hi all, I'm after a bit of advise, brought my 08 roadster 4 weeks ago, the garage said its only got one key/fob (oh yeah no owners manual as well ) would like to know the best way of going about obtaining a new key/fob or would it be advisable to get the local Nissan garage to give me a brand new key, seen as potenially there could be a spare key to my car floating about somewhere. P.S Suggestions on how to get an owners manual would also be welcome Nissan garage charging way to much.
