  1. the ramps are £2200 installed (they have to aligned, bolted down and wired up by the company) and lift about 1 metre, they do a set that go's to 1.7 metres but then you had to crouch underneath and you need a tall garage. Supplied 6"x6"x1" square rubber blocks on the jacking points were used

the concrete has been cut and the ramps are flush with the floor so you can just drive over them without knowing they are there. His garage isnt quite complete as there are ceramic tiles to be laid

my mate has a discount card for vauxhall, same spec oil go's in the VXR's, so 5 litres which they sell for £48 was £17, bargain

  2. in July/Aug i went to watch a round of the Irish drift series at a track about 30 mins from Belfast (a 15 year old lad was leading the series ! and a great driver) the track was in the middle of no-where i reckon it would be fairly to cheap to hire

Im flying out again on friday for a long weekend, so ill get some more info

  3. I remember a headline in the papers about ten years ago, how a young humble nurse purchased a new Dodge Viper (£60k or something). They told how she lived on the cheap, buying cheap stuff and saved up the money to buy it. A real heart warming story...until the last paragraph where you found out that she saved something like £15k and borrowed the rest! What a joke. Was probably out there striking about pensions yesterday...

...that said I do know a lot of people are using credit cards to pay for everything now, but using the cashback on them (a couple of percent) they then just pay off the full amount end of each month without interest and gain the extra. They have self control though.

the nurse is Nadine a good friend of mine who i met through the viper club, youll see her all over google with her viper she still has her GTS and does lots of track stuff with it, she brought it aged 23

the bit about 'probably' striking you couldnt of got it more wrong, Nadine still works long night shift hours and volunteers for any extra hours to fund hers cars and track habit

  4. my excuse is im a bit country'fied so the surrounding roads get real mucky after the slightest bit of drizzle, Z tax run out in nov and i got the use of another couple of motors.

So polished up under the car cover and on with the Optimate, tucked up against the heater for a few months...

  5. i go to belfast a few times a year to visit a mate, the coastal/mountain roads are stunning and are practically deserted

there's a brand new £92M titantic museum being built and should open in time for the anniversary

  6. no, only got the car back on thursday night after the new flywheel was fitted

forgot to mention there is another noise when in neutral you can here a faint grinding noise, that come and go's once when clutch is depressed/released

  7. anyone in the West mids have any knowledge of the Z gearbox ?
