well it's in my garage
wasnt in to bad nick, needs x2 front tyres fairly soon, and wheel refurb and a small door ding knocking out
a few things to sort straight away, need a jack, stubby, cargo net, and some sound insulation in the boot was quite surprized how much road noise there was is there a kit for this, any ideas where best to get the above ?
the guy left in the bluetooth module and he had also just brought the '11 latest sat nav disc so that was a bonus

thanks guys will see how it pans out in the morning, it was first registered 04/04/07
I will be modding
got a decent quote from Admiral multicar just £650 starting another policy with quite an expensive 3rd party accident behind me
-
still on me hunt for a Azure, viewed one, missed out on another as i couldnt escape from work and it sold in a week, so viewing this one early tomorrow am
HPI checked out so fingers crossed its a good 'un
-
where can you get a replica full kit from ?
-
a trip to a decent nissan dealearship then, they might be able to adjust the alarm settings in the ECU through the OBD port using their scan tool
-
have a clue about a nissan, but my other US cars were disabled at the ECU
-
The owners manual says this can be done?
By pressing the unlock and the lock together for a few seconds, also says I can wind down the winders via the key fob.
Is this just a US car only thing?
chirping is a US thing on alarms, removed from euro spec factory alarms back in the 90's to stop noise pollution

i tried to hire a 350Z for the weekend a while back as an extended test when i was thinking of buying a Z but had no joy, since ive found a local Nissan dealership (in Tamworth) hires out a 370Z vert, probably the demo car.
might be handy for someone who wants to try before they buy

looks lovely some nice xbox'ish decals on your x4 black buttons might look good, could even have a coloured background to match each owners paint
-
thanks guys 56 onwards then
-
done a bit of searching through old posts, is there a definitive list out there of the updates the 06 received over the 2005 ?
-
still looking, got tempted by this one but decided to hold out for a blue

so if you hear of a great condition Azure UK GT coupe, not bothered about a few mods, low'ish mileage, sensibly priced point them my way

..aahhh in two minds now, im thinking refurbed wheels, new tyres and £500+ approx for a service i may as well look for one that doesnt need so much spending on it, maybe a bit newer of course then ill still need an exhaust and a few other bits..
know what you mean about finance owing my last car had a big chunk owing on it, knew about it from the start though it wasnt a problem at all to sort it out direct with the finance company

Sounds like you have found a cracker. Have a look on Camskill for a guide to tyre prices.
£726 all in delivered from Camskill for the factory Bridgestones, amazingly cheap but are they any good ? will be a weekend/dry weather car for me

here's the world worst advert for it ! doesn't even mention its a GT
http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... ?logcode=p
apprantly it was up for sale in Dec for £12,250 no takers, autotrader offered him a cheaper advert last week so he stuck it for sale, got him down to £11K but he wont budge any lower

been for the viewing this afternoon turns out to be in pretty good nick, a few light scratches on the body work, the front nose is stone chip free, interior is mint (no rubs off scuffs on the leather or plastics) or any signs of ware. It drove really smooth no rattles or strange noises.
worse bits are the two front wheels are kurbed bad and it still has '05 Bridgestones on it, small chip low down on the passenger side windowscreen. He's had it garaged since owning it
the story given it was a dealership demo car, then a lady brought who got pregnant, then the current guy, he has all the MOT's which added up and some receipts and sounds like a little service work was carried out, but not much. The guy seemed genuine he has a few other cars and it was his sunday best
VIN checked out OK, got a few more checks to do and see how the insurance will pan out tomorrow
how much approximately is a set of new tyres?
-
i used the £10 mycarcheck.com it only gave the last 4 digits of the VIN which was 2772,
there is a VIN check opton which i have to fill in myself
-
the current reg is FV55 KKG the guy did have a private plate on it but has swapped it back in December, im deffo one for servicing if it turns out OK it will be sorted
Havent got the VIN as yet but will ask for that before the viewing
-
thanks some good info there, just done the HPI and its clean
so arranging a viewing

been on the lookout for a low mileage UK 55-57 plate Azure recently, and came across a 55 with 9,600 miles. Spoke to the owner, he's the 3rd and has covered 2,000 miles since buying it two years ago. It doesnt have any service history as such
Always a bit dubious of quite a few owners, low miles and no S/H but think its work a look to see if it checks out. Anything in particular to look out for or should i be even looking at it?
(Going to run a HPI on it tonight)

i dont think any private seller would give you the car for an extended test, or let it out of their sight or maybe 350z owners are just really friendly
-
i was in the silver monaro that day, if you want the hi-res pics let me know and ill email them over to you
-
i already had a look at the nissan used cars, 48 of them at the moment though not really interested in any of the cars close to my area. Id feel it would be a bit cheeky to ask for a extended test with no intention of buying
