  1. Beware of cheap laser alignments from some garages.

On the Zed the adjusters affect pretty much everything Heel/Toe camber etc.

So 2 dimensional alignments can not be enough to ensure a true setting.

You are better off going for a 3D wheel alignment ask the boys down at TDI they have a Balco 3D system which will do a much better job

  2. I thought Flirt was a guy? Anyway, welcome back!

Oh well, shouldn't be a problem, pending the amount won on the lottery!

Instead of a marriage certificate all I need is a legally binding document that entitles me to half the money and the keys to the car upon a breakup in the relationship.

Please email proof of lottery win to I'dBlowAmonkeyToGetRich@ManBitchWhore.com

I could always buy him a dress and get drunk a lot in the meantime!

  3. Thought I'd say a quick hello as not been on for ages!!

Update: Won lottery so keeping car lol

    new bits coming soon

    love me!

    ps whats new???

    Sarnie got married......

So, lets get this straight.... ....you're a lottery winning, petrolhead, twin turbo owning zed girl.

    mmmm...... .....married by any chance???

  4. Update:

Right, Nissan are a bunch of tards.

I took the car in on saturday for diagnostics. The guy said that he didnt know what was wrong with it because the code showing was unrecognisable to him as it was a japanese import.

He said he would have to get on to Nissan head office to get it decoded on Monday.

Monday came and they told me that they still cant recognise the code, nobody in the UK has EVER had a problem with that code before and they basically dont know how to fix the car. Lame asses.

To cut a long story short.

I phone Dan at advanced motorsport explain the code to him. He tells me its a probably an ignition coil problem. I get the car taken down to Dan in milton keynes.

Dan spends 15 minutes fitting a new Ignition coil.

    Car works fine.

The moral of the story is. Dont trust Nissan dealers. They have no real knowledge of Zeds or the basics of mechanics.

    They just service micras.

After this debacle it's just confirmed to me that a full dealer service history isnt worth anything. I used to get worried about not using a dealer for services and how it would affect the resale value of my cars. But now I think I will be going to performance specialists for my servicing.

  5. Update:

Right, I dont think it has anything to do with the clutch.

The car is stuttering and misfiring at idle now.

There is a put, put, put sound from the exhaust too.

Seems to run a lot smoother once I get the revs up though.

Would air in my fuel line cause this or is it could be an ECU issue?

Car is booked into Nissan tomorrow for diagnostics anyway.

Trouble is, I have a 10mile journey to get there.

    Do I risk it?

  6. Depends where you are in the country.

    BigPhil for the North

    TDI for the south

    Advanced motorsport for the middle

All will give good advice. Links are on the homepage of the site

If you want to FI then minimum recomended should be brake upgrade so you dont kill yourself.

Clutch upgrade to take the power.

Piggyback ECU to tune the puppy up.

Really, you will need a new exhaust system too

intakes will come with the FI kit. But a new intake system is always good.

Millions of extra options after that. (coolers, blow off valves, guages, flywheels, leather driving gloves, etc etc)

Or you can then go mental and get new con rods, pistons, cylinder heads, cams, bearings, a new short block, 4.2L stroker kits, NOS etc etc
