Use green scotch brite with WD40 on it, wipe it off, go at it with the autosol, wipe it off, give it a once over with Meguiars Metal Polysh, it leaves a coating on the metal and makes it easier to clean next time. (as told to me by BigPhil)

I am more than happy to help as i had work done from you as well and i am very pleased with it.... although i wasnt happy you kicked me out to do the wheel alignment...
Phil kicked you out not me!!
May look into the supply of parts etc but the unit i found is no where near the scale ESR was so space may be an issue, there are more and more people on here supplying things so I dont want to tread on anyones toes, I just want to keep myself out the dole que
Cant believe this thread has got to two pages already, didnt think id get much of a response!!
Thanks guys.

Thanks for that, ive kept in contact with some of the suppliers so i can still get hold of some things but I want to try and stay away from mail-order stuff and concentrate on servicing, parts fitting and repairs.

Hi all, I've met some of you before but i cant put faces to user names
As some of you may know I used to work for BigPhil at ESR but unfortunately the place had to close. Ive been hunting around for a small holding in the area to set up my own company to continue work in the 350 community, I have found such a place and Im now sorting out applications and working through overheads etc.. ( not much fun for someone who prefers working with spanners and hammers )
I may need references from previous customers to put forward to the bank and landlord to prove previous work and to show I still have custom for the future.
Any help from the club would be appreciated, and any advice from business owners would be most welcome
Thanks folks

Im currently looking for a place to start working on cars again, Ill not be supplying aftermarket parts but ill be doing servicing, fitting of aftermarket parts and repairs with Mark in on a weekend to do the 2 man stuff (clutches etc...) at very reasonable prices, learnt alot about the 350 working at ESR, shame to let it go to waste, ill keep you updated

I guess due to how corroded the join is its a case of replacing it back to the cats?
Just back to the Y pipe mate.

Ive never noticed it before because we dont really drive costomers cars hard so driving normaly it isnt a problem, however at full revs around a corner changing quickly would cause the rear to step out, surely this cant be right.

Looks like it would fit ok, Agree with ian about the extension pieces, should be a pretty good cheap exhaust for that kinda £

The box sits up quite high and the pipes leading to the tips bend down and out where as OEM are straight round and out, also the welds make it look custom made, Looks like a powerflow or custom job.

Dont ride the clutch then, use the handbrake!!!! Ha
You can usually tell the clutch is on the way out by how high the biting point is when pulling away and changing gear, if the revs go up under acceleration but the car doesnt pull then its slipping and you need a new clutch pronto!!

20th is right, u can have a kip on our sofa or we can fuel you full of coffee to help with the drive back.

A lot of people opt for an aftermarket front lip and spoiler to begin with. A set of wheels can totaly make or break the car and are usually the most expensive mod so take time in choosing
You could always pay us a visit and see what we have lying around

You dont get bungs with a scorpion exhaust!!
No, with the scorpion on itll be fine.
Are you staying up here, its a long round trip to make in one day!?
Fletch

Yep, everyones right, I think they made the plenum smaller to meet more stringent emmision laws in the american market. The spacer will make torque and acceleration more noticable on motorway driving when overtaking etc... the filter and exhaust will just make it sound nicer when doing it!!

Its def not a 350 exhaust, ive fitted loads of them, the hangers are in totally the wrong place, the tail pipes on the pic are round and the close up of the scorpion emblem looks like a slash cut pipe.
