Thanks all. It was quite amazing when you saw the car impaled into the central reservation and the damage it sustained for me to just walk away with a bit of a sore neck a few days later... These cars are hard!...The police/ambulance where all shocked considering the impact how strong the car was. I think even if I did have a passenger in the car they would of walked away with just a bruised arm as the other door looks much worse on the outside than what it did on the inside (seat could still be folded forward with a bit of help ). Not sure how the bonnet bent itself in half, the scrappy reckons I may of flipped the car but as there's no damage on the drivers side I fail to see how that was possible. Re the donor parts i'm not 100% sure what's going on with the insurance at the moment, its a case of waiting and see what they say. Re getting another one, I would absolutely love to get another but I fear the insurance is going to be through the roof after this

I'm fine, just me involved Just so happy I was in the 350 and not anything less robust. Got out of the car with no injury's at all. It was more embarrassing falling down the hole where the lamppost was....

Well i'm going down the charge back route first off to see if that works. Not sure how a claim would go, I guess the burden of proof would be on me to say they damaged the wheel. The car only got MOT'd today so I guess I could see if the garage would mind being a witness on the condition of the wheel at the time of the MOT (about a hour after).

The poppers broke on one side, not sure if some little sh1t was trying to bend it off but only noticed it yesterday. I've pulled it away from the pillar and you can see the popper is bust (bit thats attached to the car). Are they easy to replace? as it seems like the bit the clip goes into has gone inside the pillar

Only popped into Maplins to get a new battery for my alarm Yes it was my fault I jumped into a timmy spot right outside the shop. Anyone have any info on these guys to see whats happened to people who have cut the things off the car? I did try and get a locksmith out to take it off but they said they wouldnt come out due to the amount of cameras in the area....They did want £100 but id rather pay the extra fiver to them than the clampers!

I know guys, I was young once! Two small and two large tubes, I believe they are purple. Suppose to be 'remote control' but I lost the remote kit along time ago, these have never been fitted to any car where simply sitting in my garage. Ideally would like to drop these off or be picked up thus the £20 so really looking for something in the essex area. PS: I promise not to tell anyone on here who buys them !

i think you might have the tunnel police responce unit down there before they had shut the door to the car. you'd be in big trouble for stopping down there, let alone letting someone out. someone might be able to walk trough on foot. their is a raised walkway in there if i remember rightly. but i don't know if they let pedestrians down there. never seen them before. Not real old bill are they? Probably just get a ticking off and be let on ya way. I don't remember seeing any no stopping signs/red route stuff in there :-)

Reckon we could drop someone off halfway thru the tunnel with a video recorder and get em to film it? :-)
