After repeated failed attempts to stop the airbag light flashing I took it to the garage.

They diagnosed a faulty "squib" or clock spring behind the steering wheel.

Thankfully they managed to source a 2nd hand one and fitted it for me.

For about £100 fitted I thought it very reasonable.

My light is off and I now have working airbags.

 

So another thumbs up for Lockwood and Greenwood in Audenshaw Manchester :thumbs:
