Piranha Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 Was wondering what would be the best / strongest lug nuts to buy. I recently had to get hold of a set quickly for my garage to use and I got the mishimoto ones. Had wheels off today to paint calipers and one of the nuts had been over tightened which has resulted in some damage to the narrow end. It has gone back on ok and I have re torqued them all up to 85lbs. Now thinking its sensible to get some back up nuts, if this is a one off I can buy replacement mishimoto ones, just wondering if these are the best or if there's better ones to use. Quote
GMballistic Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 You want steel nuts. Any of these should do it: http://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/GB/Muteki_Super_Tuner_Closed_Wheel_Nuts/350z-MutekiSTClosed.aspx http://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/GB/350z_Enkei_Chrome_Wheel_Nut_Set/350z-21123HT_.aspx http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/95286-purple-nuts-we-now-have-some/ Just make sure you have the correct size for your car & taper. PM the traders for more info. 1 Quote
Piranha Posted April 19, 2015 Author Posted April 19, 2015 Thanks I will check out the links. Steel sounds better than aluminium, they just feel so light and flimsy. Quote
