Daryl Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 Just wondering if its possible to get a rubber gasket for the upper plenum to lower plenum. Basically, i have a Kinetix V plenum which i got 2nd hand, and iv spent some time modifying it. However, as it was 2nd hand, it did not have the cork gasket that should come with it. I saw a post on a US site which says the guy ditched the cork gasket and got a rubber one. However, I cant seem to find a rubber one anywhere. I dont want to fit the plenum with just some gasket gunk, as I wouldnt trust that seal. However, if thats the way it has to be, then so be it. If all else fails, i may make my own from a sheet of rubber at work. Quote
ZMANALEX Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 If you are referring to plenum to inlet manifold, then you must fit a gasket, either oem or Iso Thermal Aramid. Alex. Quote
