350Z alternator quit; good altenative suppliers?

I replaced the alternator as the original had quit charging, with a non-Nissan replacement.

This quit after ~1month, and I eventually got around to sending it back; it was fine, they said, but sent me a new one anyway.

This one quit charging; I took it to an auto-electrician, who says "it's the alternator - it's not charging"

AS far as I can see, the charging cct is alternator <> battery <> volt meter/bulb. And that there's no connection to the ECU. So nothing could kill an alternator (the battery is all-but new, and is charging fine).

I'm going to return the latest alternator to the supplier; they're not happy, as far as I know, but there's not much you can do wrong with an alternator!

Does anyone recommend a replacement supplier ? Any traders who can help - pls PM me.

Thanks,

Thanks both,

I was feeling brave (and annoyed with the remanufactured-part supplier!), so rang my 'local' dealer. Guess how much ?? £867 inc.

I'm speechless.

I'll be in touch!!
