Cat to y pipe stud thread

Does anyone know what the thread is on the cat to y pipe studs on the 350?

I'm replacing them all on mine as badly corroded when I put my new exhaust on.

However just called in at a bolt specialist and they think it's (took an old one in with me) M9x1.25 but didn't have any in stock. Can anyone confirm the size so I can order off the web?

Thank you

Steve

I've checked the nuts with some plug gauges at work and it's not m10 x 1.25.

We thought it was 3/8 UNF but then the pitch was wrong. It seems to be M9 x 1.25........gash

Bit bizarre that, def won't be imperial size..M9 would be a specialist size. If I get time I will measure up the old ones I took off mine.

That's what I thought too.

I know I could just drill them all out but under the car doing it isn't that easy due to access.

I've been into stores at work today and tried pretty much every bolt we had. The only one I can find that fits is a 3/8 BSF. It feels a little loose but that could be because my old nut is corroded to hell.

Thanks for that mate, however because you remove the cats when you fit the down pipes I think Berks have just used new bolts that are a different size that fit through the OEM Y-Pipe holes.

I know I could go to Nissan but I bet they want £5 per nut at least lol.

Thanks for measuring yours up mate, appreciate it.

Maybe mine are just that badly corroded that they are no longer m10 x 1.25. I'll buy some m10 x 1.25 nuts and try them on the studs.

Mine took a 13mm hex and were loose in it, shows how corroded they are!
