Omegamanuk Posted February 15, 2014 Share Posted February 15, 2014 I'm wanting to install a radar detector and not use the cig plug but to do a permanent installation with it up by the interior mirror and figured I may be able to pick up switched supply from the interior light. Is this a goer or is the light permanently live. The best way would be to "piggy back" a second cig socket off the standard one and locate it behind the plastics.
