Hi

 

First and foremost I am by no means an electircian. Can change a plug and light bulb but not much more. Just about to purchae a Road Angel Gem to instal in my z. It has the option to run by battery but can also be hard wired into the car. Can somoene send me an idiots guide of where i would take the feed from to hard wire it and what I need and how to do it. Thats assuming you think a novice could do the job.

You can wire it into the cig lighter, this should show you how to wire a lighter connector on a cable so just tap into the lighter from the rear:

 

If you look into the cigarette lighter the middle at the bottom is the + and the sides are -
