VQ35DE or VQ35HR turbokit

Hello there.

 

I'm new at this forum and i'm from Sweden, so sorry for my bad English.

 

I'm thinking of buying myself a 350z and then put a turboconversionkit on it. However i don't know if should do it on a VQ35DE or VQ35HR. Is there any big diffrence ?

I know that the HR is a better engine, but maybe one of them is better to convert?

I have found an excellent 2003 model with a nice bodykit. So if the DE engine is better to convert i will buy that. Otherwise i will have to buy a 2007 model and put on a bodykit myself.

the HR engine is stronger and can handle more torque than the DE engine so therefore it would be the better one to turbocharge. if your planning on going for forged internals I don't think it would matter between the two

Forged internals would of course be awesome. But i'm not prepard to do that much work right away.
